A couple of things I forgot to mention:
Xbox 360 Wireless Guitars require the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver to work on Windows.
Every guitar listed except GH Live Guitars and PS2 Guitars work in Fortnite Festival on PC via FestivalInstrumentMapper on GitHub
Besides RB4 guitars Arduino Guitars work on Fortnite Festival on Console
Only Arduino guitars work on Festival on Nintendo Switch.
RetroCultMods’ V3 adapter should have the same compatibility as an Arduino Guitar.
Pro tip: Do NOT ever buy guitars from scalpers that specially goes for the Riffmaster. You’d be paying more than its official price and will not come with the warranty if it breaks, plus if you’re willing to pay more for one and the guitar isn’t available in your country try getting a modded guitar from trusted sellers in Etsy with that budget.

bought a wii gibson off ebay for $30 and the wii adapter off etsy for $16 and it makes the wii guitar work with xbox 360, xbox one/series x, pc, ps4 and for fortnite festival

@d3mar93 yeah, only thing is you gotta wire the guitar to whatever console or pc you wanna play on, RetroCultMods sells the adapter on his site and Etsy

That was a pretty helpful video but I do have one question and that is if I get the riffmaster could I play a hard song on fn festival like ride the lightning with not having that much difficulty with the frets on the riffmaster
Frets are good enough for Metallica songs on the Riffmaster. Your biggest issue with it will be Overdrive activations due to the button placement of the d-pad.
I use the full sunburst stratocaster replica and I can never go back!
I personally always wanted a full size strat replica since I’m used to playing the real ones but they’re rare and expensive.
So if I were to get a guitar, and would primarily use it for Festival, and competitively. Which one should I go for? I was thinking of buying the Riffmaster, but after watching your video. I'm on the fence about it
I suggest a Wii Les Paul or WT/GH5 with the RetroCultMods V3 adapter as well since they work on console too besides pc and have low latency this way.
Arduino guitars are good too if money isn’t an issue. A modding kit with mech frets is $35 with soldering required and $67 for a solderless version.
There is the alternative option of building your own Arduino guitar with a Raspberry Pi Pico for cheaper than that but it will require basic soldering skills.
Another good alternative if you’re a pc player is the Xplorer but the latency won’t be as low as a Wiitar with the adapter or an Arduino

For the pi pico add a festival profile in Santroller and hold the start or plus button while plugging the guitar into the PS5
