Love love love your Falcon and your fun presentation!! I recall these cars when Falcons were new and they even had a particular smell that was unique to them. So many good memories!! Thanks for sharing!!
Another great video from America's favorite garage! Yup, I'm calling it now, I have a feeling this channel is going to pick up and everyone is gonna wanna join this journey.
Hi from Australia, I'm curious to know if you are aware that Ford Australia kept the Falcon name going 'till 2016. I recently passed on my 2002 wagon on to my son. 307000 kms and still running sweetly. I think you are super cute with your love of this legendary car.❤
G'day Ellie. Love your car ..One day get to Australia ...The home of the Ford Falcon. Over 3.5 million built here from 1960 right through to October 2016 when the last FGX Falcon rolled off the assembly line . I own a 2001 AU Series 2 Futura and a Falcon 2008 FG XR6 . Also owned a 1975 XB utility , a 1984 XE Falcon GL , a 1996 EF Futura and a 2005 BA Fairmont Ghia.. and other Fords like Telstar and Escort .. Well done to you and your Dad ...It's awesome ..
My first car was a 1959 English Ford Anglia. I traded an outboard motor and some cash for it; I had to assemble the little flathead to get it running, and i drove it to school and work. My second was a 1957 Ford Tudor, I put a 390 in it and a man bought it for way more than i had in it. Third was a 1960 Falcon, and it is sorely missed. I have photos of these. Later on after some wasted time with MG's, I bought a 1965 Ranchero--technically it was a Fairlane, but it was so much like the Falcons of the era, it still makes for great memories. I have to tell you how thrilling it is to see such infectious enthusiasm from One so Young. Tennessee has numerous antique shops and old junk yards and I will search with shared enthusiasm for a lamp such as the one you wanted. Thank you for a bright spot in my day!
Glad to see you all back safely from what had to be a wonderful drive. What a beautiful time! Glad to see you folks driving your Falcon. I'm sure that little pickle you had with the alignment could be great fodder for another wonderful video! Aloha!
Thank you! That means a lot coming from you guys! Wish I could be at FordFest this year but college calls. Maybe sometime in the future! All the best to you!
Hi from Aussie land down under. Your falcon looking good my dad had a "1965 xp falcon" my first cars were all falcon 3 = 67 xr falcon sedans windsor (302) 67 = xr wagon Fairmont (289 ,) xt sedan ,xt Fairmont( 302 ),xy falcon wagon (302 )4 speed I still own a 67 xr ford falcon and 1992 xf falcon panel van they used to be cheap when I was your age a long time ago!!! ❤ love the "falcon "
Ellie The fact you and your Dad are so into Falcons makes you so cute. I am 64 and when I was 5 my older sister had a brand new 1965 Falcon 2 door post. It was green with green interior, so Falcons have always been on my radar. A few years ago I learned Falcons were a big deal in Australia. A 1971 Falcon XY GT HO Phase lll was one the the fastest 4 door cars on the planet, and have sold at auction’s for over a million dollars!! They looked like the next body style after yours but came with a Windsor 351 engine and won championship auto races ! Just some info you may like to know and and talk about in your Falcon club meetings.
A 1971 falcon sold for 4 million not long ago. If ya look into modern ford falcons look into the Barra or the AU falcon. They're beating all the Japanese cars at drift events around the world and doing 6 second passes
ELLIE, LOVE THE COLOR YOU CHOSE FOR THE CAR, LOOKS PERFECT. I HAVE A 63 1/2 RANCHERO. IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS JUST MADE. So happy to see young adults like yourself taking up the old car hobby. I have loved cars since I was about 5 yrs old, YOU GO GIRL!
I use an extra large beach towel to dry my car. I throw it over the roof and pull it across. I do this all over the topside of the car. Then squeeze out the excess water and finish drying the little bits. Oh... your laugh and smile add the icing to your videos.
@@ElliesGarage I bet the toe adjustment is off by 1/4 to 1/2" back VS front. Measure center to center of tire in the front then the same in the back. I guess the front measure is too close. Mine is a 62 Comet S22. Not many merc meets
My older daughter has a GT350, which is eye-searing yellow. Younger one drives a '91 TC convertible in triple black. The funny thing is that I have a '76 Valiant (V8, 4-speed OD stick) in "Sahara Beige" (for now- I will change it) that always brings people to them if they drive it. I will say, one of the best things I did was swap on 11.75" discs from a Cordoba, 15" x 7" rims from a Mopar cop car, and 60-series rubber. Looks correct, 99% of people have no clue and the braking & handling makes the car not only more fun to drive, but a lot safer. The car came with the A51 "Road handling" option, so I put new leafs in back (HD, poly eye bushings w/ plenty of synthetic boat trailer bearing grease in the sleeve), bigger sway bars up front & in back (again with poly bushings & HD end links), and KYB shocks. I've done subframe connectors, torque boxes were factory with the A51 option- had a friend years back hydroplane in a '67 Mustang and hit a median wall almost head-on...the only thing that kept it from folding like a taco & made it possible for him to get out of the car was the connectors ability to keep the center section rigid
Congratulations, Ellie on winning the silverware! Great to see all those Falcons, too! I miss my '68 Falcon more and more. I had a '79 mustang straight six engine in it so I could run on unleaded gas. But, then it was stolen. May get another one soon, though, thanks to your channel! Take care.😁
My first car back in 1980 was a 1964 Ford Falcon that my Dad bought me and it had to be rebuilt. Over that summer, I swapped out an engine and got it roadworthy and I drove it to college for the 5 1/2 years I took to get my double major. (Had to take a semester off because of finances - I had to pay for college and the car ended up needing repairs). My 2 door Falcon was very close in color to your 4 door. The car was in decent condition overall other than the usual rusty floor boards. It was so easy to work on. I do miss it though I don't miss the 2 speed automatic which really bothers me now since it cost me gas mileage! I love when people bring their Falcons back to how they were when new but absolutely loathe people who modify their falcon with stupid paint jobs and period inappropriate wheels.
Ellie, Just found and subscribed to your channel. I own a 1963 Mercury Comet Custom 4-door. I love the videos. It's great to see the younger generation enjoying the classic cars, and even more than that, you and your dad taking "Carl" on as a father/daughter project. What's your plan for a new headliner? Mice had made nests up in mine. 😞Keep the great videos coming and enjoy Carl. He l@@ks fantastic!!!

Robert McNamara came up with the idea to produce the falcon and he went on to become the defense secretary for JFK.
you got a short bit of my 65 Rangoon Red at the 7.50 minute mark. thanks, nice video. Wish I had did some video, only about 1000 photos

I may have missed an episode that discusses the dents in detail. Have you considered contacting a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) professional?
Was there many wagons? I’ve got a 62 wagon and would love to go to this show when it’s on the west coast
yes, quite a few wagons. My Dad loves wagons, too. You would definitely be in good company the next time there is a meet or national in your area.
Actually it was in Overland Park ,Kansas not Kansas City I was there also
And I saw your car very nice
Some of the best cars ever made, Mustangs were tin cans! I have Falcon stories.
When and where is the next one
what dents?
I have a 1963 falcon 2 door hardtop where can I get parts for
Lordco 😎
Autokrafters or Dennis Carpenter .
Get a 1999 ford falcon
More rust per square feet than any vehicle show!
Dad had a 62 Falcon Station Wagon, sorry I could not make it through your video. The nose ring really irritated me.
What a joke of an event 😂😂😂 Like having a pinto fest or something
