Thank you and enjoy - Навчання та стиль
Great project! The wax is the perfect finish- it really brings out the beauty in the wood
That is a very lovely litle clock, beautiful wood and beautiful work. Glad to see it used, in spite of the crack, I think it actually adds something. I have to say it is far, far beyond my beginner's skill. But I am an inept beginner, so... As always, many tips and tricks shown. Thanks for another educational and entertaining video.
Thank you 😀
Very interesting idea. I am clumsy and would probably knock that clock off my desk, but it is unusual. Another masterpiece by the master.
Thank you
Great idea, expertly turned.
Hello from Florida
Great video. Olivewood is such a beautiful would really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. Thank you.
That's Lovely. Definitely on my to do liat
Hi Tomislav …great project, present for mother in law….😊 I see that don’t have this marvellous Raffansocks for polishing, salü from Luxembourg 🇱🇺 and have a great weekend 🍺🇱🇺😎🇭🇷
Nope,I would need to get one😅 thank you and all the best from Croatia
Great project. Thank you!
Always love your videos thanks so much
Great project. Super job.
Another great turn tomislav nicely done, Cheers From will 😊👍
Thank you buddy
Great spin on the desk clock! Looks great! Turning Olive is always a pleasure!!! Thank you Tomislav!
Thanks Tony🤗
Very nice turning. Thanks for sharing!
Very cool project. Added this one to my bucket list. Keep up the awesome work. 👽
Neat project and very nice looking wood. Your videos always provide good information on techniques, really got a lot out of seeing you roll those large beads with the skew. If one were to sand a flat on the back of the stand, would that help prevent the clock from rolling on the desk?
Hmm I haven't think of that Mark, yes it would help out a lot😅
i would give this 2 thumbs up but it isn't available
Thank you Tom😀
I would have liked to see how you used the CA glue and coffee grounds together and mix that up before the CA glue dried what the viscosity did you use
I don't mix it up, I use first a bit of thin CA glue to seal the crack, then stuff with coffee and then again CA glue on top to soak in and harden everything.... I'll film it next time👍
Nice idea! I would like to change it, where did you find the dial with mechanism?
At Steinert woodturning Germany and axminster also has these.... Probably every woodturning store has a few sizes
I'm a huge fan. Your videos are first rate. I have trouble keeping my turning tools as sharp as you seem to. Occasionally in your videos I see you using a small abrasive sheet to hone your tool a bit instead of going to the grinder. Could you tell us what you use. I have found a few possibilities, but nothing that looks like what you use.
Also, you often say you are using a "spindle" gouge on bowl projects. All my gouges are "bowl" gouges, and I have only one smallish spindle gouge, are you really using a larger spindle gouge, or are you calling a bowl gouge a spindle gouge.
I use Diamond hones, on a stick .... They usually come in different grit and color.
Every woodturning store will carrie something similar.
yes, I use 12mm diameter spindle gouge on bowls, its cheaper and for outside of bowls great tool to have... But I do also use bowl gouges so nothing wrong using both🤗
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning I bought a "Trend" 300/600 diamond hone. I haven't used it much. I have been wondering if I need to get some lapping fluid.
@@WilliamGriffith not for Diamond hones, I think its not nessesary 😀
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning After looking around a bit, it seems there is plenty of advice against using a spindle gouge on bowls because of its lower strength.
Insetting the bezel was not the best idea.
I don't like when its sticking out 10mm like in this case
