One thing: Never take Al Jougensen word as full truth. There is a much more plausible story about LORAH's album cover: The execs literally couldn't tell what it was a photo of. Thought it was a blurry landscape photo. So they greenlit it without real giving it any thought. Al didn't live in Texas in 1988, so there's no way he would have driven from Austin to LA to the Sire building (which is in New York, by the way) with roadkill. That's just another edgy made up story used to make his life seem more exciting in his memoirs.
