I was surprised when working backstage to find out that the majority of the cast drives between cities. I still don't know how they do it, long drives and little hours of sleep during the shows. Super friendly people. Was a pleasure to meet, work, and watch them.
That is really incredibly awesome. It really sounds like quite adventure and lots of fun. I never knew any of this stuff until I started researching. AMAZING!
Hopefully circuses will exist for more and more years because after I die, I wish to be reincarnated as a different girl and grow up in the circus like this.
No way do I have any talent to have been a performer for this! But that would have been beyond neat to had the chance to spend a year on the circus train and ride all the different rail routes over the country, some routes that haven't even seen passenger trains operate in many decades.
