Been messing with a floppy charger connection for over a year, why didn't I do this sooner. Thanks for the video. Got my new port in and it works great!!!
Whenever i try to plug my phone in to charge, it says either moisture or debris is in the charger port and to unplug immediately. I took a new toothbrush and brushed the charger port so it doesnt appear to have any debris in there, and this has been doing this for over a week, so not a moisture issue. Any ideas? I had to buy a wireless charger to charge my phone. Would a new charger port fix this issue? Why do you think it keeps giving me this message when i try to charge with a cord??? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
I put in a new charging port but it still doesn't charge via usb c. Wireless charging still works though. Double checked all of the connections and still no dice. Any ideas?
So I dropped my phone in the car door (first time ever) and bent the phone a little and it appears only thing not working is the type c port. Looking at all them ribbon cables connected to it I'm wondering maybe 1 of them may have just came loose. A board is cheap enough but what glue is it you used at the end? Also I like the look of them clamps, what ones are they?
When you are buying the board, Make sure to buy a good board. Otherwise your charging speed will reduce. We are using b7000 glue. Those are called screen binding clips. Do you want it?
I used to work on iPhones and taking those apart to fix them, Samsung phones seem so much easier and quite frankly have a much more gorgeous internal design

Will the S20fe 5G board work for the regular S20fe?
Hola muy interesante e instructivo, le consulto, Como son los pasos para medir si funciona la placa secundaria? Gracias
Connect to a charger to verify the status
Is the black screw holding down the pcb board the same size as all the others? I can’t get it out for some reason
It is a Philips screw/ Try with a good screwdriver. Please Do not rip it off.Otherwise it will be very hard to remove it

Can anyone send me a link to the glue and charging port please 😊
Your location?
@ link. Also dw i fixed it myself earlier yesterday was good video i found it helpful
I changed the connector but it doesn't give a signal now, was it replaced by an original one? Do you know any alternatives!?
have you got the correct model number?
Is it ok if I keep the battery plugged in
Better to disconnect
Does it remains water resistance after this work?
Nope.
Why take the top section out you can change the port without doing that
Yes can, But it is good if you can disconnect the battery plug. That is the reason behind removing the upper part

Hello! Is it the same process for both 5G and 4G edition?
Yes
After watching this video I'm sure I'm not going to attempt it. There are so many places where I can mess it up
Compare to other repairs, this is quite straight forward.

Yep..true..Thanks for your feedback..
If that doesn't work, replace the ribbon
Thanks for your feedback..
Do the charge ports fail that often on these phones?
it depends
Mine didn't, had it for 3 years. Recently an old charger from a buddy overheated and melted the charge port
Yeah i cant do this by myself. Ill leave the professional to do it
Shit I don't have half these tools. 1/10 piss off
haha
