Nice! I like this kind of modifications. I made a short on our channel how to make a new screw cap in the bottom if you cant remove the stock cap with hot water.

I found out to put the water in first to prevent foaming. I dilute my Dawn dish soap this way for the dispenser.

No it will not spill. The treads are glued from the factory so the heat just dissolves the glue.

Maybe add some Teflon tape to the threads before you screw the cap back on after refilling. I haven't tried this but seems like it might help.

After refilling the bottle, my swiffer would not spray the Pine-Sol

I microwaved water, took off cap, refilled it, then put it back. Worked just fine. Maybe boiling water warps it?

Did you dilute the Pine Sol or use full strength? I dilute it. 3 parts water to 1 part Pine Sol.

Mine leaked all over! The Wet Jet I have punctured the bottle on the back side. They may have updated the design so you can’t use this hack.
