Here we go with the "he's not Lou" crowd again. Well, that being the case, y'all should have quit listening to this band 32 years ago when Gramm left. Same deal with Chicago; no matter which one of their songs you pull up on YT there's 20 or so "not Terry" haters that just have to chime in. I offered to dig him up and have him play a gig or two but nobody took me up on it. And the worst part of this rendition is the audio and the drummer. Listen to this version of the same song with the same players, including Mick Jones. The audio is far better, the drummer is infinitely better, it sounds a lot more like the original and Kelly Hansen does a fine job. ua-cam.com/video/36hdcn_3ekI/v-deo.html
If you were to hear them live, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between now and 40 years ago. They're that good. Not unlike Leonid and Friends, a bunch of Russian nationals who cover Chicago better than Chicago, even when Terry Kath was with them. Singer Kelly Hansen won't satisfy Lou Gramm fans but I've been around long enough to hear Foreigner both when they were all original and today. Hansen is different but just as good and so is every other member of today's band. Besides, Mick Jones (founder) still plays with the band on occasion when his health permits.
@@cll1639 ... ya just a good cover band, I'm welll aware that Mick Jones is the founder & screwed over Lou Gram over royalties on their #1 hit "I Wanna Know What Love Is" & he's been milking the Foreigner name since day 1 including owning & occasionally playing in this revolving member cover band.
@@patrickdevinelntervention2683 He founded Foreigner; I reckon he's got a right to milk it. I don't know anything about him screwing Gramm over; if you say so I'll take you at your word. Not something I had on my mind when I went to see them 2 years ago. They're a great band that still sounds exactly like the original group; that's what I paid my money to see and frankly, all I care about. That was my whole point - they don't suck just because the originals have all scattered.
@@cll1639 ... didn't say they suck just stating the obvious & frankly I could care less about these posers, I can't stand the bass player Jeff Pilson Jones often employs
the greatest thing I've ever heard from my childhood memories forever
Lindo
I wouldn’t pay 2 dollars to watch imposters
Exactly. Where's Mick?
$2 for a cover band is fine :)
