Well I certainly can't blame these guys for going out and making a living. So many great foreigner songs that still can be heard live from some decent musicians. Got so into metal bands (too cool for skool) as a kid, that I missed out on some great rock shows.

Classic Rock bands are a thing of the past, Kelly does a great job of bringing it back. I want to hear the songs as I remember them one last time. Seen them in 2018 a great show! I guess once Mick Jones is gone it should stop or at least change the name of the band but still a good show.
To Kelly Hanson I give the utmost respect. He stepped into some very big shoes a number of years ago and he handled Foreigner with the utmost respect, class and ability. Can't wait to see him in his solo band one day.

God only knows why Mick Jones let this band carry on. He was the only original member in the group and has been stepping away dealing with health issues to my understanding. All Kelly Hansen does during these shows is his imitation of Lou’s singing. Lou has commented on current band. Saying he don’t know why the band keeps going. It’s a cover band using the Foreigner name especially and that Kelly should be his own singer and put his own signature sound and tone to them not try to sound like Lou. Which he certainly does not.
I disagree on the point that he shouldn't try to sound like Lou. I think honouring Lou and the original music is a good thing and that the closest he can get to Lou is what he should strive for. Also I'm mixed on what you said on the band continuing and still being called Foreigner. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to call them a cover band, but since the only grounds to keep the original name is sort of having the original members. It's grey for me because the new singer has been with them so long. Also I am glad that they continue on, even if my heart is so broken that Lou and the other members arent there (I especially miss Lou), BUT I am too young to have ever seen the original band live, so I am grateful for a chance to see their music played live in whatever capacity. They are my favourite band in the world and I'd rather this than nothing at all. That's just me though. I totally understand and respect your perspective! I am still so bitter that they split up lol.
Because Kelly is way better singer than Lou and they continue to sell out shows and represent foreigner the best possible way
