You can’t, pet rabbits & feeding rabbits are sold separately if at all. Or they’re raised by snake owner. Live feeding is mostly frowned upon by snake owners with very good reason, very rarely it needs to be done.

You're right sometimes they don't want to eat a big meal it's best to just give them a rat or a couple large mice and then you can slowly work your way back up to a big meal my Everglades rat snake won't eat a rat he just hates big meals so I give him 4 mice

Just a boring Q - I see the temperature gauge on the enclosure says 91, I assume its the temp ? Below that reading it says 40, is that the humidity ? If it is, I am really surprised because I would have thought the Pythons would need higher humidity. My 2 tarantulas enjoy humidity of 60* - 85*.

Cinthya Ramirez let me clear up as to why I threw the rabbits in the way I did...these rabbits I purchased are not for pets,strictly bred for food...meaning that they have had no interaction with humans what's so ever...so to prevent injuries to my self such as getting bit or scratched, I quickly put the rabbit in to the cage.

Part of me is like, "I don't like watching this..." Like watching a nature documentary, you don't wanna see the cute animals get hurt. But at the same time, this is the type of content that should be shown for people who wanna see what happens in full view when a snake attacks its prey. It isn't overly editors and you can see how long it actually takes for the animal to get attack by said snake. It's an interesting learning 'rabbit hole' I've stumbled into. (Pun intended) Question, do you let your snakes out of the cages from time to time to explore the house?
Problem is both are expensive af. A cat, you can /sometimes/ find stray and free. Getting one from a shelter is 150 bucks. Rabbits are still expensive but much cheaper at 20 per head.

To the owner, just be careful you're pets don't get loose at night, you don't want to be constricted I've heard stories were owners getting killed by their own pets no matter how tamed they are their still wild animals. Be cautious, even if their tamed.
I'd much rather sleep next to a python than a big dog. Even those pythons are not big enough to eat an adult and they won't waste time trying to bother. A hungry dog on the other hand would have no problem eating your ass in your sleep. There are more "stories" of dogs killing humans than snakes

Just picked up my 5th retic this past Sunday. I love them. One of mine is huge and I will have to switch her to rabbits soon. Still, I've heard rabbits can get vicious if not handled right... On that note, could you do a live/dead animal feeding demo with a rabbit (from rabbit in hutch to snake cage, and everything in between)? Unfortunately, there are no carefully done demos like this on UA-cam. I've been performing somewhat of a public service to my neighbours meanwhile by feeding her stray cats. FYI - there are a ton of strays in our hood and they crap everywhere - more of a pest than squirrels, so my neighbours have been really grateful. Unfortunately, I'm now running low on strays (they are not as easy to trap as you'd think) and I do worry about fleas etc. I'm hoping to switch mine from cats to rabbits in the next month. I'm not excited about continuing with cats neither tbh, and want to avoid breeding kittens as I hear they bury crap everywhere that stinks real bad. Plus, cats are not cost-effective to breed (too slow) and are currently unavailable frozen online... unless I am missing something... Thanks again and great stuff as always!

Looks like both snakes just want out of that fucking shoebox rather than eating anything. The first one just looks it wants to ambush the bloke when he goes to feed it and the second one is patrolling the confines of the cage trying to get out and has zero interest in eating.
Terrible to see animals of that size living in such conditions. It's the equivalent of us trapped and forced to live in a casket.

Just picked up my 5th retic this past Sunday. I love them. One of mine is huge and I will have to switch her to rabbits soon. Still, I've heard rabbits can get vicious if not handled right... On that note, could you do a live/dead animal feeding demo with a rabbit (from rabbit in hutch to snake cage, and everything in between)? Unfortunately, there are no carefully done demos like this on UA-cam. I've been performing somewhat of a public service to my neighbours meanwhile by feeding her stray cats. FYI - there are a ton of strays in our hood and they crap everywhere - more of a pest than squirrels, so my neighbours have been really grateful. Unfortunately, I'm now running low on strays (they are not as easy to trap as you'd think) and I do worry about fleas etc. I'm hoping to switch mine from cats to rabbits in the next month. I'm not excited about continuing with cats neither tbh, and want to avoid breeding kittens as I hear they bury crap everywhere that stinks real bad. Plus, cats are not cost-effective to breed (too slow) and are currently unavailable frozen online... unless I am missing something... Thanks again and great stuff as always!
