Your response about the towel holder "I ruined it. So she got a new one and I got a skull holder".... cracked me up. Do it again and she'll have your head on a stick.
utube4greenfuture hahahaha Good one!
I have a couple of tips to share from one Artist to Another !
1. If you have something with the hardened Hot Glue on it " such as your Wife's paper towel holder , you can stick the item in the Fridge or Freezer for a little bit and the hot glue will pop right off !!!
2. When working with glue that comes in tube form, rub a little bit of Vaseline on whatever you don't want the glue to adhere or dry on ( such as your hands ) ! It makes it so much easier to remove , rather than pick off of your skin !
Bonus Info ... Put Vaseline on the tip of the tube for easy removal of the cap next time !!
Nice, thanks!!
Well, the paper towel holder is toast, but I have me a skull holder now (I bought my wife a new one). Thanks for the vaseline tip. After every tutorial I look like my cat when he is grooming, just picking glue and stuff off of my hands.
Cheers,
ET
The whole time while watching this, I was trying to think of a way I could mass produce these (faster) so my daughter could use them with her 4th graders. I thought it would be cool to have the kids paint them their own unique way. Very cool idea. On a scale of one to ten I give this a nine!
Vacuum former
Those would make good lawn lanterns...
Lainey Bug. I agree! 👍 I was thinking very similar thoughts. I think they'd be great with a little paint or stain and maybe a little glow in the dark paint with white, black, or red lights inside them and strategically placed for a great Halloween 🎃 display whether it be placed on a stand in various places with raggedy and/or pirate-y clothing draped over it or strung together like a giant strand of electric or battery candle or tea lights at an entry way. Sounds like a lot of work but worth it if one turns their work into a fun party with yummy weird snacks. 🎃
Maybe pop it over the porch light.
Love your resourcefulness! Taking something that would be trash & making a "skully treasure"! How kind to share your knowledge & talent!
Awesome! Thanks for your great ideas.....excited to see cement skull tutorial!
I appreciate the care for your wife's paper towel holder. Good man! ...and great skull tutorial!! :)
heheh thanks. I ruined it. So she got a new one and I got a skull holder.
Cheers,
ET
Monster Tutorials well that particular towel IS perfect for the job. Brilliant!!!
+Monster Tutorials hahaha
If you freeze the meta paper towel holder, the glue should pop right off
Yep, just shove the whole thing in the freeze for like a day or two and then pull the skull off. the hotglue doesn't do good with cold.
I'm a sculptor (amateur) and I love the idea of creating a skull form armature. This would be super fun to do for a Halloween sculpt as a base for a mummy or zombie or something. Plus just as a regular skull they look awesome.
Tremendous. And I really appreciate that you leave the video fairly raw. You show that this isn't so easy-peasy. You have to work it to make it come out right.
This is exactly why I love UA-cam! This guy made an excellent tutorial for making plastic jug skull props for Halloween. How cool is that? Thank You for showing this and the accent was cool too. Keep up the great work. Very nice indeed!!
Thanks!
Cheers,
ET
You are AMAZING!!!!! I've had the idea to do this for a few years but couldn't figure it out for the life of me!!!!! I am a FAN now!!!! Love your work!
This might very well have been the coolest thing I've ever seen!! Thank you!!
Thank you!!
That is so cool I added a LED light inside and made it glow I also used a bit of spray paint for details. Great vid tutorial! 👍
I love these tutorials!! Thanks so much for making them. Your accent rules too!
That is awesome!! Definitely doing this!
WOW!!!!! Really awesome. Thanks for sharing.
I used this method for my mummy's, heads , worked great. Thank you
Thanks for that. I have seen other tutorials for this project but they always say you can't use a cheap plastic skull to start so I've never tried it. I have several of the same skull you used so now I know it will work on them. I'm excited!!!!
I'm sure if you heat it long enough, they may melt together, or if you push too hard with the sponge, you may deform the hot skull below. So, if done carefully, I don't see an issue with using plastic skulls, especially the hard plastic ones.
Cheers,
ET
Brilliant! You are so clever and talented! Halloween is my favorite Holiday but my ideas are a bit more fantasy based- Which gives me great ideas to make masks using your technique! Thank you and Have a wonderful and safe Halloween!
So easy to follow. I love when he goes into detail and explains things.
Awesome! Thank you! I am going to make a 3’ skull waterfall and you just made it that much easier for me!
This is the best video out there that I have seen yet, a lot of detail. Very cool.
Love the tutorial!!! Love the Raven fabric behind you as well!! Looking forward to watching more of your videos! You are very talented!
Great job! Who would have thought you could do that with a plastic milk jug! Two thumbs up from me!!!
I like your tutorial style.
It's relaxed and real.
I have been attempting to take up sculpting, and I must say that this tutorial was really cool!! I am going to try recreating this form. Thank you!! I will also be checking out your other tutorials!! 👍
An exceptionally pleasant tutorial...thank you
I need a milk jug skull. I didn't even know this morning that I'd need one.
Garry Burgess SAME!
Well, that makes three of us now...
......i need a Bunch if em!
Ahahaha
Awesome props and video too, love your comedy when watching, entertaining at the same time too, thumbs up!
This is so cool, I will definitely be making some of these, thanks for sharing!
Oh man! Right away when that skull came out off the mold, i thought how cool would these skulls look with some light effects? You could use these in so many ways! So awesome!
I love how concerned you are about the paper towel holder. Loved the results of your skull.
It was ruined...had to buy a new one for my wife, but now I have a skull holder!
Cheers,
ET
Nice idea! 👍👍
I wonder if ever-so-lightly coating both the towel stand (after adding/drying the glue blob) and the skull💀 with petroleum jelly might prevent the ruin of your holder AND ensure the molded plastic doesn't stick to the skull itself.
Anyhow, thanks for the fun, down-to-earth tutorial!
You could have removed the hot clue with the heat gun and a paper towel. Heat the glue till it melts and wipe it off. Bet you tried to scrape it off with a knife and scratched it. Well, now you don't need to make a tutorial about how to make a molding stand.
Wow, this is awesome! Very creative and it turned out amazing. Upcycling always makes me happy😊
That was pretty awesome!!! Loved it!!
Awesome job. Those skulls look great and gives me ideas. Great vid. I'm ready for more vids.
Thanks Jerry, I have quite a few coming!
Cheers,
ET

You have amazing ideas and thank you for showing every thing you need and how!
"Oh, crap." 😝 Great combo of inspiring, useful, and funny.
Awesome tutorial...thanks for sharing!! 😃
Love this! I love your crow/raven wall paper backdrop, too.
I really have to get started on Halloween. I think today marks
99 days left.
I hope you were able to clean off the paper towel holder. If not, maybe sticking it in the freezing will help it peel right off.
Thanks for everything. 🎃
I just found this channel. I really love his tutorials. I don’t know how it has 800+ downvoted. Excellent tutorial.
This is the most creative way to make day of the dead skulls for my outside decorations. Thank you
You are the best! Love all your Halloween tutorials👻! Just subscribed. Thank You so much for sharing your talent 😊
Brilliant method. I love the endless possibilities depending on how far you go with the melting.
Good on you for showing your concern for the towel holder. We have too many UA-camrs setting bad examples, we need more good role models.
Thanks!!
@@MonsterTutorials You're welcome.
Most simple technique iv never thought of doing. Genius dude, keep it up!
Very cool! Thank you for taking the time to share this process. Doing it for our annual pirate themed haunt!

Joann fabrics right around July 4th - July 25th is when they START bringing out Halloween stuff and putting it on their shelves. I know this cuz I’ve been working at one for 5 YEARS AND LOVE IT
So creative!! I bet your good with home projects too!!
I'm going to make some 💀 s ,you make it look so fast and easy to do and it's cheap, I can't wait to see what you come up with next, thanks for sharing.
I've made 6 of these so far, thanks for this awesome tutorial man!
HAHA I did the exact same thing today...The calling of the stores to see when Halloween is out, not the milk jug skulls, though it is a very neat idea I'll have to try now I've seen this video. I'll be doing a Halloween project with milk bottles eventually...the old antique glass ones.
This is such a neat idea you have, though.I'm going to do this with my nephew. Thanks so much!
Morticia
Thanks for all the comments! Around here, Michael's already has a nice selection of Halloween stuff. I'll be uploading a video of the Michael's stuff on Sunday...stay tuned!
Amazing! That's a great idea, I'm definitely going to have to try it!
I love the quiet "crap..." as you looked at how much glue had dropped. Hilarious!!
Very cool! I love your ideas.
Wouldnt it be cool to use a mannequin's face to mold the milk jug then place the skull inside so that you can see inside the outer surfaces on a face in to the skull?
HappyQuails wicked Idea!
HappyQuails Great idea.
🤔...😎🖒🖒
Y’all are sick! I love it!
You have a fun personality. Enjoyed listening as much as watching your tutorial.
Thank you!
I agree, very entertaining! I binge watch your videos. I love Halloween! The scarier the better! I don’t do cute stuff.
that is awesome, thanks for showing this...
Really enjoyed this tutorial , . Going to show this to my husband Thank you .
Thanks!
Love all your tutorials! Keep them coming!!
Thanks!
Very creative! Thank you.
Ive seen where people use these skulls for scarecrows, just use spray adhesive to add a burlap sack over it and it'll give the head of the scarecrow a skull shape
Nightmare Fuel Studios Awesome idea!!!
Good idea, I always felt bad taking a good (read expensive) skull and covering it up. This technique allows me to corpse away, and repeat.
Cheers,
ET
Nightmare Fuel Studios put some LED lights in it

That's awesome! I can't wait to do this!
Ingenious. Awesome video.
The skulls that we buy in the stores are good.... You, on the other hand have added an 'Unsettling' degree of detail to a standard prop!! So Cool and spooky!!
Fantastic starter for a very cool mask in the making if the skull is proportionate. Keep up the great work you inspire me Greatly!
Thanks for sharing, I love Halloween and making Halloween decorations.
I have a really nice anatomical resin skull that I would love more of! This is the perfect way to quickly copy it! Beats scanning and 3d printing them by a longshot! Thanks for sharing Brother!
I am a very arty, love skulls, love making things. A great tutorial!
This is great, I work for Alta Dena dairy, I am definitely doing this
Great idea, thank you.
Neat! I'm going to have to give this a try.
Cool! Need to save milk jugs. Thank you so much for sharing! Subscribed
‼️AWESOME ‼️I will do some this Halloween, thank you ‼️
Two points one love that you used everyday stuff to do it, second nice work it’s like vacuum modding without the vacuum, I would have never thought of this so smart! You could use this to do molds for chocolates or anything you want to recreate simple genius thank you!
So, this is what Floki is up to when not filming for Vikings! 😊 Very cool skulls! Can't wait to make some!
I always look forward to your tutorials and without fail, you gave us another great one, so inspiring .. thank you. And now, I HAVE to get a heat gun.
Thanks!! It's pre-halloween time, so I have a few more coming out soon!
Cheers,
ET
this guy is fantastic I subscribed to him just because of this video
You are the MAN, thanks for the great video brother!!!
Nice job man I had to laugh about the paper towel dispenser though because I get in trouble all the time for using my wife's curling iron to bend thin pieces of wood for guitar binding. Great video, can't wait to see what you do with the concrete.
I'm over a year late but this is the coolest goddamn thing I've seen in awhile. Super creative and the fact that it isn't overly complicated just makes it even better.
I have wondered how pepole make stuff with milk jugs. Thanks great tip.
It Works So Well
That is awesome you have great skills keep up the great work keep the videos coming
Amazing idea and you sir have me subscribed👍🏻
I was so waiting for this tut to be posted. Freaking awesome. Now I need to see if I have any resin or plaster skulls. Time to start saving some milk jugs. 😁😁
Thanks Dave, for a week before the tutorial I was feeding my kids all kinds of food were I could use the milk. So I got like 3 jugs.
Cheers,
ET
Wow! That was so cool and easy to make. Thanks for the tutorial 👍
Thank you! Fun to do too.
Wow man thank you this is AWESOME I ROCK
