FYI - I got skulls from Monster Makers (full skull) and one 25lb bucket of refractory cement (same brand as above) made basically 3 skulls. This was with a solo cup put inside so I could drill out holes for eyes/nose. So count on making two full skulls with one 25lb bucket to be safe.
@@ooddities It's a shame I'm from Germany and unfortunately we don't have such great things here, it stinks a lot. Is it possible for you to send it to Germany?
I am a bit nervous to see what your Christmas videos look like, but I await them still. What a totally fun channel. I shared your Infinite hallway video with my art friends, I don't know if they will subscribe, but I know they will LOVE it.
These turned out awesome. The plastic skulls really surprised me, turned out better than expected. I wonder if heating the plastic skulls with a hair dryer or heat gun would help them peel away from the cement.
Thanks for the awesome comment. 💀. That’s a great idea, I found some dollar store skulls that would be nice to use around the larger skulls. I can’t wait to make more, I might even show this in a class at the TX haunters convention this year. Again, your channel rocks!!
They turned out great! Did you spray mold release in the silicone molds before casting or did you just pour the refractory cement straight into the mold?
I love these!!! Do you think it would be possible to do the balloon method (fill a balloon with gravel for weight and add a little water. Cover the balloon in Vaseline to help it release. Then use hammer to break thin inconspicuous area and pop balloon to remove- leaving the inside hollow) that would cut down on cost as well as weight and make it possible for flame to glow through eyes. 🤷🤔🧐
Why not just burn the plastic off. And I wonder how hard it would be to put a pipe down the center. to reduce weight and possibly drill out eyes and nose. Thank you for your video

I wonder why one couldnt simply place the plastic filled skulls in the fire and let the flames vaporize the plastic?
Please , ma'am...I want more videos!
I love how cute she is like her little giggles and then she’s making skulls I love it!
OHHHH... And I think I would do one big skull and a bunch of bones😊
I'm feeling so inspired!!!
I love it. Thank you!
Very cool.. something I may have to try to make some day..
Where can I get the molds required to make these refractory skulls? This would help immensely!
Laura
How many concrete pulls have you been able to get out of the Nightmare Makers mold?
I will be pulling more, but I haven’t done anymore since this vlog. 👍🏻
I have a question, how did you make the silicone molds ? Do you have step-by-step instructions on UA-cam ?
I bought the molds from Nightmare Makers 💀

@@waechterdeslichts If I were you I would just buy a cheap plastic skull in your area, mix up the refractory cement & you’ll have some. 💀💀💀💀
Can you use these in a campfire not a gas fire?
Where did you get the skull molds from?
Nightmare Makers, they are out of Texas 💀😊
I want to try this!! Since the plastic mold gets destroyed anyway what about just burning it off?
You could totally do that 👍
What skull molds did you use?
@@lauraharley6805 The are called “Nightmare Makers” out of Texas. You should be able to find them online. 💀💀👍🏻
Fabulous!
Thank you!! 💀💀
Where did you buy your skull molds?
2 of them were from EBay, they were super cheap, the other skill molds were from Nightmare Makers and were a bit more money. 👍🏻💀💀

Did u need to water cure it ? If so how long?
No, I just used regular water, nothing special, thanks for asking. 💀

Where did you get those silicon moulds from? Do they come with the 2 white half moulds?
You can get those from “Nightmare Makers”. They are out of Texas, very nice people. Yes, both halves are included. Happy Haunting!!
@@ooddities awesome.......I hope they ship to Scotland UK

Jack Mac yes, WD40 just before the pour. 👍👍💀
Where did you get the molds from? The silicone ones?
Look online for Nightmare Makers. They are super nice and I myself want to buy more of their “bones” for the fire pit. ☠️

Maybe but the balloon would have to be super thick, not thin, it would totally pop. Good luck!!

Do you have the link to the plastic skulls? I would love to give this a try. Thank you.
I bought the plastic cheap molds on EBay, I would say you could even use the dollar store plastic skulls although they would be a bit smaller. 💀💀💀💀
Cool project been thinking about making some of these one day💀💀
MONSTER MISFITS You should do it, this was a fun project!! 💀💀
@@ooddities It looked like a fun project I mite give it a try when the weather cools down some more
