Rod Stewart is a deep dive, some others "Tonight's the NIght", "Hot Legs", "The First Cut Is The Deepest", "You Wear It Well", "Young Turks" and many more and he has a great cover of "Twisting The Night Away". Thanks and God Bless
This was a sharp turn for Rod Stewart because he had never done disco before. A lot of his fans (myself included) were horrified at first, but honestly, how can you not love this song? It’s pure fun! 😂😂 I absolutely love Rod Stewart and he has a lot more to explore. 🌺✌️
I was such a huge Rod Stewart fan in the 70's and know I remember why lol....He embodied this song in real life, too hahahaha I hope you do Tonight's the Night next....another sexy song..

Guys, if you thought this song was suggestive you should give Hot Legs a listen. I saw Rod in concert four times and each show was fire. A real showman...
Rod Stewart is something special. I grew up listening to him in the 70s and 80s. I don't know how much longer he can continue singing. He's already 77 years old and still has a busy schedule! This is my first time watching your channel and I enjoyed it and subscribed. Also check out his "I don't want to talk about it" song. It's beautiful.
I still remember one of the cool girls in my junior high school math class circa 1976-77 or so explaining to me what the lyrics to Tonight’s the Night meant……I was a bit sheltered…..
The follow up to this was "Do Ya Think I Have an STD?" lol...This was Rod's foray into the semi-disco arena - a big hit. One of the great blues-rock singers.
When I lived in Orlando, FL for much of 1979, the local pop-rock radio station played this hit many times hourly. Clearly a big hit! It prompt me to go buy the Rod Stewart's Greatest Hits album (the vinyl (old fashion) record (which I still have, to this very day).
What a long and amazing career Rod has had! Started as a rocker, moved into pop, moved into disco, back to pop, and recently into the standards. Tons of great hits from this guy...
Hilarious. This was such a popular disco song at the time, it was on the radio constantly along with Maggie May but this song will get played at the clubs for sure. And the ladies loved him. My absolute favorite by him though is hot legs. It's a real banger.
Rod Stewart - Tonight's the Night " Should be the next one you hear! All the early stuff was the best 70's!! Also " Young Turks" - "You Wear it well" - "The First Cut is the Deepest" - "Hot Legs"
Yes!!! Disco was so huge then that several rock bands put out a quasi-disco song ❤️. The Rolling Stone’s “Miss You” and Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust” are some examples 😊. I had this song on 12” and played it to death ❤️
One of the most seventies songs ever. Sounds great with Donna Summer's 1976 "Love to Love You." This 1978 song was Rod Stewart's attempt at a disco song, and it was a huge hit, all over the radio.
Whoa! This is awesome. You guys feel that beat and that bass. Hellz yeah..Rod Stewart brings a lot to the table. I appreciate you really listening and feeling that groove... it's so good after all these years. 🎸🎧❤️😃
Funny story... when this came out, my 60 yr old mom saw him perform it on tv and she was in LOVE. She couldn't quit talking about that Rod guy from England!
When I was really young and this came on and my mom would start singing along, i remember dying laughing. She thought it was hilarious too! He’s great though.
Rod Stewart is a British rock & pop singer, songwriter with a distinctive raspy singing voice. His music career started in the 60's. Stewart was in quite a few groups, the Dimensions, Jeff Beck Group, "Small Faces"/"Faces" before he went solo. He had a lot of great hits such as Maggie May", "Reason To Believe", "Mandolin Wind", "The First Cut Is The Deepest", "You Wear It Well", "Sailing", "Tonight's The Night", "You're In My Heart, "Rhythm of My Heart", "Hot Legs", "I Was Only Joking", "Some Guys Have All The Luck" & many more.
The song was HUGE and received the REMIX treatment of the day. Remix was the FIRst to get a 16 track process for dance music. He hit it out of the park, but SURPRISED many of his die hard fans when released.
Wife here..Have listened to this guy all my life.., Through all his transitions..Amazing catalog of music!!.. Your reactions are so darn cute!!..Love the selections today!!
Oh goodness! This is one of the most catchiest songs that will get stuck in your head for days. So, thank you for that y'all haha. Awesome reaction to another Rod Stewart classic. Peace and love!
Rod was cool way back and really ahead-of- his time. He's got lots of kids and been with lots of ladies. He's still the coolest ever and he's still kicking it! I love him to death
Rod Stewart started in Jeff Beck Group. These are bangers in a Led Zeppelin way. Jeff Beck played with Jimmy Page in the Yardbirds, and a special guitar player. I Ain’t Superstitious, Morning Dew, and many other on the record. This shows Rod journey.
This is an iconic keyboard riff like Jump by Van Halen, or The final countdown by Europe. This song is definitively in my top list since the Day it was released and heard on the radio. Rod Stewart is one of my favorite artist.
This is when all the rock bands were putting disco elements in there songs. Rolling Stones did Miss You, Queen did Another One Bites The Dust, Paul McCartney Goodnight Tonight. Many many more!!!
His tunes TONIGHTS THE NIGHT , FOREVER YOUNG, YOU'RE IN MY HEART & SAILING. Check those out! Also RIP to TOM PARKER from THE WANTED. Such a devastating heart breaking news. He was only 33 as well :( God bless you, and everybody else battling health issues.
We went a couple of weeks ago and toured the studio where Rod Stewart recorded his album Atlantic Crossing. My favorite song off that album is Sailing. Y'all should check it out. Some other famous people that recorded there is Cher, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Rolling Stones just to name a few. It was so cool. Man if those walls could talk. 💞🤟😎😎🤟🎶🎶🎶🎶💞

This song was so huge when it came out. Every 30 minutes it seemed on the radio.
Yeah! great song but auditory overload back then.

"Passion" is pretty neat as well.
"I Don't Want to Talk About It" and "Killing of Georgie" I would add to that list.
💯 To all of these!!!!
You Wear It Well!! One of the most underrated songs!! only second to "your in My Heart"
excellent suggestions. i used to luv luv Rod Stewart so much. Hours and hours over and over listening to his albums, tapes.
This was a sharp turn for Rod Stewart because he had never done disco before. A lot of his fans (myself included) were horrified at first, but honestly, how can you not love this song? It’s pure fun! 😂😂 I absolutely love Rod Stewart and he has a lot more to explore. 🌺✌️
Agree, but really, Maggie May is the much superior song, in my opinion. Too bad these two didn't appreciate it more. ;)
@@joe34012 Thank you for reminding me of muskrat love.
And, in truth, there are a lot of songs more disco than this.
Really? What classifies this song as "disco"? More like pop/rock to me.
I was not horrified he did disco one time - he was so talented he could drive in any lane and pick up that check and make everybody happy.
I was such a huge Rod Stewart fan in the 70's and know I remember why lol....He embodied this song in real life, too hahahaha I hope you do Tonight's the Night next....another sexy song..
Fun fact: when MTV started in 1981, Rod Stewart was the artist with most music videos that they had in their vault.
I saw this video in 1979 before MTV on some show. It was the first music video I had ever seen, and i didn't know what it even was
Yeah Rod was making music videos way before it was even a "thing"!
That's depressing
Asia’s expressions were priceless!
Lol! She was like Oh! Lol
Especially when Rod had the mike , when on the floor:)

Can't go wrong with Rod ! Great song! Great reaction!
When Asia closes her eyes and starts dancing wow my heart ❤️ skips a beat.
Rod Stewart had the largest concert ever at 3.54 million people back in 1994 on Copacabana Beach on New Year's Eve. Still a record today.

Thanks for running the video on this one, as some songs need the visuals, as that is often a part of the "art" as well.
The crowd goes wild when he sings this at a concert. Also check out Tonights the night (official video )
