I have failed to get hold of Oettinger in Sweden, I think it has been temporarily available but I can't find it anywhere now. That beer and Krombacher are constantly fighting for the top-selling beer rank - from what I understand. 😊 That could actually be an even more interesting comparison to Norrlands Guld than Krombacher... I will keep looking!
Love the videos keep them coming, it's a good thing you like the krombacher as you got a fridge full lol. Hope you had a great Xmas and New year, cheers
It's a very common and somewhat "un-interesting" beer in Sweden, but of course you get curious when you can't get hold of it. I feel the same way about some common foreign beers.
Perhaps there is a swedenshop online in the UK? In germany we have access to a lot of such nordic shops. The Norrlands Guld also, for 1,45€ a can. Even danish easter brew is already available alongside "Julebryg". I sometimes order swedish and finnish beer out of nostalgia and the pure fantastic nordic water.
I really hate the bitter in Norrland, and for me it's a bitter beer. It's Perle or Magnum, but i dislike it strongly. For my taste buds is like a toxic coin have been solved in the beer. Not pleasant. But i know bitterness is very dependent on the individual and i like many IPA and other bitter drinks, but something with Norrland is of for me.
In germany Oettinger sell a lot. 20x0,5l Export cost under 6€ yesterday at Kaufland. Most consider that Fulöl or the "5,0" brand cans. Super cheap.

Yep lol, never wrong with a few extra in the fridge. 😁 And thank you, hope you had a good holiday as well! ✨ Mine was calm and cozy.
I really wish we could get Swedish beer here in the UK - Krombacher is readily available, but I'm really curious to try Norrlands!

I really like Krombacher, but as you said it is a easy to drink/drink a lot beer. Nothing special but just a nice simple beer.
