    You have helped me so much! Stopped the evening primrose because the pain seemed to be getting worse. As soon as I stopped it, the pain subsided. Been going through peri menopause the last few years. I always keep your videos in my “save” for reference. You are the only one that mentions such important information that others miss. Forever grateful!

    Precisely Eileen. I have 3 breast screening because of pain in my left breast causing me a lot of worry. All times fine so I guess the culprit is priemeno symptoms. Great bit of knowledge around over dosing on omegas linked to inflammation. Also sprays for the arms blocking pores. It's great that these videos get us to think about associated links and how simple changes can help lessen or elevate problems. I too have lumpy breasts more than ever now thanks again x

    My left breast has just recently become an issue, and it is usually just prior to my flow, or when I would expect to get a flow. I make my own deodorant, laundry detergent, etc., use magnesium, D3, K2, drink green tea with honey and ginger, drink water ( should more). As for the B vitamin I'm thinking B1? I just started taking a teaspoon daily of black seed oil a week ago, so I'll see how that works. It apparently cures everything, but death :). Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease! Applying the heat now, never even thought to do that before.

      Glad to be of help! B vits are best taken as a complex rather than individually; I usually recommend a vitamin B Complex 50mg to start with. Interesting about the Black Seed oil, do let me know how you get on with it.

    I am 50 and haven't had a regular period since September. I have the swollen, sore breasts that I had in early peri.
    They are very tender, nipples constantly. erect.
    I struggle with not getting enough water, so I think that's it. I recently switched from sparkling water to regular water and not drinking enough.

      Hi Trisha
      Water can often help with this and you could also try a kelp supplement. If you are also getting other menopause symptoms you could add in the Menopause Support.

    I’m 55 and haven’t had a period in over a year. I had a mammogram and it was clear (a lot of fatty tissue) but checking again in 6 months (another 4 months from now). Since the mammogram I have had burning in the same spot as the fatty tissue. I’m wondering if it’s because of the loss of “perkiness” and more pulling/sagging.

    Hello. Thank you for this information, all very interesting and a little mind settling too. I have pain in one breast which is a sharp and post late monthly menstruation. This is new for me as usually pain before menstruation. I will certainly try the suggestion and then get checked out with my GP if no hope. How long shall we try these things before getting checked? Also, I had breast augmentation 13 years ago so it's not easy when checking for lumps. Does anyone have any tips on this? Thank you kindly.

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 роки тому

      Hi Dawn
      Normally, we suggest trying remedies for about 3 cycles to see if there is an improvement but with breast issues (especially at the moment where it may be really difficult to get a doctor's appointment) it is important to get things checked out as soon as possible.

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 років тому +1

      Hello, Sorry, Kelp is not suitable, if you are on thyroid medication. I would advise that you get any breast pain checked out by the doctor (if you have not done so already), just to clarify the root cause. In the meantime, try to drink plenty of plain water to keep nourished and hydrated. Avoid caffeine and process foods, as these can be triggers or make menopause symptoms worse.

    Do you get hair lost within peirmenopaus and I am sick all time

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 років тому

      Hi Susan
      Yes, hair loss can happen in the menopause and may be due to falling oestrogen. However, there can be other reasons such as low iron, poor thyroid function or low vitamin D so it is best to get this checked out by your doctor as well. They can test for all these just to rule them out. If youa re being physically sick then again please let your doctor know as they may need to investigate. However, if youa re feeling nauseous then I have posted a video blog on this and what you can do to help yourself.

    Thought of retaining water in belly and legs but not breasts...makes sense! They felt heavy, thought I was miraculously pregnant or had breast version of blue balls coz it came on after being intimate and felt I needed longer attention to boobies in foreplay. Well I can still tell hubby they need attention for medical needs. Lol. Thanks a million! You're awesome for covering these changes not often discussed.

      Dehydration can also be a factor with breast pain so remember to drink plenty of plain water every day; you could also try the nettle tea to see if that helps. If nothing works then it may be an idea to check with your doctor that this isn't a side effect of the HRT which can happen.

      Last November I had a mammogram and breast ultrasound. I thank the Lord BOTH came out clear. The sonologist told me I had hormonal imbalance.
      Recently though just before the pain in the lymph node area, I had done a salt bath detox. Afterward someone else online said these could be dangerous.
      What are your thoughts on ion salt detoxification baths? Many on the market are cheap. This one, a friend of mine's in particular runs for $650 and seems to do a pretty thorough job. Is it indeed dangerous?

I've been dealing with severe nipple pain and irritation very red and tingly almost prickly feeling when you press on them or when anything gets rubbed up against them. I've been dealing with this for almost 6 months now. My doctor prescribed me triamcinolone acetonide ointment 0.1 percent. I've only been on it for 2 days and so far it's not helping. Have you found any relief? 🙏

      Hi Christel
      Yes, this can happen too, usually dehydration is a factor but if you are getting flushes/sweats your breasts can overheat leading to itching. Your breast skin can also become more sensitive and react to whatever washing powder/fabric conditioners you may be using; maybe swap to more natural washing products etc and also check out what soaps, shower gels you are using!

    I stopped having periods after April this year, 2020. I guess I'm having symptoms here and there like hot flashes, but just last week I started to having painful breasts, esp the nipple, on both sides. It hasn't let up yet. I have been put on bio-identical progesterone (I tested a bit low now) by my doctor recently, but I just haven't started using the cream yet. Could this help with my menopause symptoms like breast pain? I know I can't be comfortable if this continues for a lot longer. I wear a nursing bra that is all cotton and like a sports bra. I could probably buy more bras, but with the virus, I have stayed at home unless absolutely necessary.

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 роки тому

      If these symptoms have started since you have been taking the bio-identical progesterone then there is a possibility it could be a side effect and, in which case, it is important to let your doctor know.
      Dehydration can sometimes be a factor so remember to drink lots of plain water and some women find a kelp supplement can be of benefit for sore breasts and nipples.

      Hi Nazreen
      Nausea is really common in the menopause; I have posted a video blog on this and what you can do to help yourself so please do take a look. www.avogel.co.uk/health/menopause/videos/how-to-relieve-menopause-nausea/
      Fatigue is often your body’s way of saying it can’t cope and during the menopause; the changing hormones can really deplete you of energy so it is really important to get as much rest and relaxation as you can - I do know this is very difficult if you lead a busy life but it vital to have some me-time every day to allow your body to recuperate and re-energise. However, fatigue can indicate low thyroid function, low iron or low vitamin D so it is best to get a health check by your doctor as well.
      Wanting to be alone and do nothing is common too - please see my blog on this www.avogel.co.uk/health/menopause/videos/is-the-menopause-turning-you-into-a-hermit/

    I'm 46 and haven't had a period for over three months now, my breasts (particularly the left) are almost constantly sore, I have the pre-menstrual abdomen ache off-and-on and it feels like I'm constantly about to start a period and it isn't happening. I just wish it would come and be done with! I have been wearing a natural deodorant for over a year now but it hasn't made any difference. Had my bra size checked at M & S recently, too. I really think it's purely hormonal and something I just have to ride out. Thoughts, anyone?
