With so much going on in the shop it is difficult to keep UA-cam updated on project progress, events, and videos in the works so I hope to make this style video a consistent Thursday feature. I keep my Facebook and Instagram pages very up to date but this may be easier for this audience! Let me know what you think! What are you excited for?
Loads of goodies to come, cant wait. I think the camping trip is going to be great. My favorite part of this video was the majestic hair!!
Twas so majestic!
things are hopping, love the energy!
🤘🤘
Wow, no shortage of projects! BHB is amazing!
Never a shortage! 🤘
I need to get this on this level.
🤘🤘
"More Suzuki content!"
"My Suzuki's are all perfect."
"Dammit!" Lol
Congrats on selling the Bridgestones finally. Cool pieces of history there. Shops looking more "lived in" at this point which is cool to see. That CB750 camping trip sounds awesome! Keep up the great work 👍
Realistically they are doing good! Bandit needs a clutch but that's it
A Lot of interesting stuff. The camping ride on the 750 bikes sounds like a real good idea
It will be a blast!
Filmed I hope?@BrickHouseBuilds
@lovetoflylovetofly3843 Oh for sure. I invested in more cameras so each of us have a POV and audio. I'll try to capture all I can
looking forward to more cbx!
Me too!
I enjoy the updates. No complaints from me and good to see what Seth is up to.
Thank ya!
I stumbled on your UA-cam page and just realized we are on opposite ends of The Lou. Looks like I found another bike night to attend.
Awesome! Definitely check out the main one on Big Bend as well
@@BrickHouseBuilds VFW Post 3500? I haven't been to that one yet.
Awsome video and behind The scene
Glad you enjoyed!
A lot of projects. Pretty sure you will get them all done while we sit back and watch.
BJ, sweep all those CX & CB projects into a corner and get that Benelli Sei up on a work bench pronto!
I wish I could but work needs to get done in a certain order
I live in Georgia, but I definitely want to make it to a Bike Night one day. It’s on the list!
That would be epic!
Enjoyed the video BJ..Lots of cool things going on in the shop. The vintage bike night has got to be a fun get together. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
VBN was fun and we definitely plan to make it a consistent thing
Man you’ve got some great bikes you’ll be selling BJ. I haven’t watched your other channel but once. I wanted to let the videos pile up on the Porsche then binge. Have a great weekend 👋🏻
🤘
Thanks for the t-shirt. I saw your re-lighting setup for the shop and you have made a sick clean space for producing masterpieces. I love my 2011 V-strom. It is such a daily workhorse, glad you got one. Love your channel.
Thanks so much!
Breath of fresh air a guy that doesn't want to fix everything that isn't broken but can. I wish I would have kept all of the CX500 that I have had
But I got a really nice rebel 400 vertical twin project.and a CB 200 twin
Those rebel engines are actually really sweet
@@BrickHouseBuilds I made the 400 into a hardtail and then regretted it .
@@BrickHouseBuilds I've been working on all engines including especially motorcycles for many years and there's some dudes on UA-cam that have a large following. And this particular guy is really sloppy and never cleans anything up but he has a lot of money to buy things I watch some videos that I can't handle it sometimes because of the breaking off kickstarter's.. you know stuff like that but I appreciate your builds . I have heads for a CX500..
Hi BJ really appreciate the time you put into these videos when you have defo a lot going on ,when do you sleep man lol a lot of nice bikes for sure but as you know I just love the cb 750 it’s just an epic bike for me and sounds amazing ,shop is looking great and so is the beard 😉👍👌take care buddy and wish you all the best 👍👌🏍️🏍️❤️🔧🔧🔧
Your CX customs look great, I really dig the white one.
Thank you
Wow those two CX500s are gorgeous!
Thank ya!
I wanna see the CBX done for sure. That bike came out just after i got out of High School, a guy a couple blocks away from me had one, and it was the coolest / fastest bike around. With the right exhaust, the CBX sounds like a Formula 1 car :)
This will unfortunately have the stock exhaust since it's a resto
@@BrickHouseBuilds , Okay, thats cool too, cuz original is good. I was just referring to some bikes i have seen on UA-cam with custom exhaust, and they sound really crazy good :)
@flexjay87 oh yeah I have watched all of those! Check out my recent video from Barber Vintage Fest of the CBX sound contest
Wow, lots of work there. I thought I had too many projects!!
massive video. I'd be honored to buy one of your builds
🙏🙏
i still cannot believe this dude came to my work to scrap some shit this is cool as hell, also i know i had asked if you would help me build a custom mini chopper and was gonna ask if i could i would love to see if it would be possible to help me 😅
That was cool meeting you! I really wish I could take everything on but just so much to do
I had a 650 V-Strom for 7 years, it makes a great touring bike. The biggest issue with that bike is trying to sort out the windshield. The buffeting with the stock one can be terrible, and it can take a lot of time and money to find one that works well. The best solution I ever found was installing the Madstad bracket with a taller windshield. There is not much you can do about the looks, it’s a workhorse.
So far the wind has been great on this one. Doesn't seem to buffet at all
Your shop design is inspiring.
Thanks!
I admire your motivation to work on all these motorcycles. After some years of fixing my own, I simply can not make myself fix my GSX. And I would like to ride it so much. I feel exhausted just thinking about taking so many hours to just figure out why it is not firing on all cylinders…
CBX! YES!
🤘🤘
May I recommend you hire a temp to help catalog and organize your parts? The ROE would be beneficial.
That guy Seth I showed already did that
Hi BJ, just wished I lived closer to your shop. I would be one of those pain in the arse customers that ya cant get rid of lol. Not really, I would just love to come an get involved as a free labour guy, cleaning stuff, sanding down an such, making tea, lol. Great vid as always, thanks for sharing.
🙏🙏
Well, if you didn’t have all those projects, you’d be out looking for more.
I’ve been working on one care for 20 years off and on
It's a pity you're not based in the UK otherwise I would have been interested in a Bridgestone. I only ever saw 2 of this make in the 1970s in Scotland where I lived at the time. One was a 185cc owned by a buddy and the other was a 350cc owned by a friends older brother. I don't think many were imported to the UK. I remember the 185cc having a 6 speed gearbox that you could set as a conventional up and back down through the gears or you could set it so it could go from top gear straight into first. Your workshop has really taken shape, I like it. High time you had a haircut and a shave young man to complete the image though. 🤣🤣🤣
Trying to get some stuff filmed so I can both shave and get a haircut lol
You can always import ....
@@GPR111 Cant afford to do that on my pension.
You have a great opportunity to do things that you like. You are Blessed. My 2nd gen VStrom totalled and rebuilt different than it was built is needing a major fix. I need to lube the chain. It is perfect. My KLR needs major chain lubing too.
I'm pretty much the worst at chain maintenance lol. This past year I had to replace a lot of chains and sprockets
@@BrickHouseBuilds
Get back to the basics. Motorcycle maintenance is one of the truely soulfull things I get to do. On my own bikes. Go down the "Tangent" with it. Customer machines are never that way. Love to have them, though. Eating is a good thing.
CBX engine rebuild thanks, Vmax next😁
What vmax? 😉
@@BrickHouseBuilds 🚳
Are you filming any of the Southern Missouri trip? Sounds like a good test for the 750's.
Oh 100% I bought more cameras for it!
Appreciate this status update videos ! Don't tell me your owner building a house, raising 2 kids and hold a full time job as well 😜
2 other full time jobs, sleep 1.3 hours per night, 19 kids lol
@@BrickHouseBuilds Not only all that but you have time to reply to just about every comment. Apart from this one that is.
@@montgomerybusch-pigg2722 definitely not this one 😉
05.27 absolutely darshing my dear heathcliff 😅
Great video I’m gonna have to make a bike night.😎
Definitely!
Halo
I thought the white CX500 was a customer bike? Nonetheless it is great looking and the purchaser will get a lot of bike for the money.
It is. That customer wishes to sell it
Tell us about the Benelli Sei! Have you assessed what parts are missing? Maybe I can help, being based in Europe...
I have a couple videos on that bike here:
Barn Find Benelli 750 SEI Build: ua-cam.com/play/PLerq_C5Llt2w21fN9ZfpLDz0uxuzCcDy8.html
As far as missing parts I haven't got too far there. It won't need hardly any factory parts with Mt plan for it
Please finish Wanda I’ve been following this build for 2 years
I'm actively working on it lol
I'm in the UK and need a good use headlamp chrome trim for my 1992 CB750 Nighthawk. Any ideas? Good video as ever.
Id say just ebay or the usual parts suppliers
@@BrickHouseBuilds There are very few of these in the UK so finding parts is a bit of a nightmare.
do you use any programs for inventory control? and just dig that shop..thx for updates...
Yes, my main website host shopify
Why JB Weld instead of Tig brazing the copper tube to the steal?
To blend it more.
You just walked by the Bandit with no mention......... What's going on with that?
👍😎👍
.
What happened to the Benelli 750SEI ??
It's just waiting in line. CBX is priority
Which model of Kawasaki was under the stairs ?
That is an 82 kz750 twin. Here is a walk around from way back in the day ua-cam.com/video/xaHZ2MEq0bc/v-deo.html
Where can i see prices for those two cx500 ?
Send me an email to bj@brickhousebuilds.com and I can share information there.
I definitely did not see the V-Max
😉
You need the rack. the Spanish inquisition will return.....
How much for the cafe CX500 with the white tank?
Send me an email to discuss: bj@brickhousebuilds.com
Can we talk about that black Cafe' on the lift???
I showed it in the Monday video actually. Just a quick service job
@@BrickHouseBuildsI must have missed that one.
❤❤❤❤
Grandfather's Axe is for sale???
* drools *
That it is!
@BrickHouseBuilds wish I could afford to buy it/give it a proper home!
2 years in Motorcycle time is only 20 minutes.
A lot to work on.
Indeed! Definitely need to make these videos to keep people at bay lol
I subscribed to the channel to watch you revamp old motorcycles and that is all. Not really interested in all the nuances etc etc etc. I am singular in my need and will move on. However I did enjoy your channel.
So an extra upload scheduled on Thursday is enough to make you quit all together? Maybe just watch the focused Monday uploads?
@@BrickHouseBuilds You are 100% correct, I am just being full of crap. You spoilt me
