Thanks letting us know we can freeze the batter. It looks like it makes a lot. I can make a batch of the batter and use it whenever I want a snack. Yum
Very good question, the blender will crush it too much the food processor blends everything but will not liquefy it completely... Hope this makes sense....
EXCELLENT REVIEW as usual, Raihana Be'hen. Thank you very much for sharing. 🙏
I’m making Zanzibar mix, and this Bhajia is on the menu as well, thank you for sharing.

That looks really delicious! Thanx for sharing. :)
You are just welcome!
Thank you 🙏🏽
It would just be careful you don't blend it completely! It should be a little grainy!
You could also use small ice cream scoop
Buy Goya brand black eye peas they are the best.
what is green chutney composed of?
Did you use "Pulse" button on Food processor? Thanks 🙏
Why wouldn't a blender work for this recipe? This is similar to the Nigerian food akara.
Very good question, the blender will crush it too much the food processor blends everything but will not liquefy it completely... Hope this makes sense....
Thank you. Ok, it makes sense.
indeed it remind me the nigerian akara except this is with the skins and in a food processor so i guess it's more meaty or something.
Will tinned black eye beans work??? Or do they have to be fresh
Tinned will not work it has to be fresh...,
sister your are supposed to wash off the skins after the soak, then grind
Everyone cooks it differently I don't mind if the skin is on it doesn't effect the texture of taste....
Jiko lako ni classic
Thats a lot of oil :'(
Not a proper recipe it's too watery it needsa flour in it to bind properly. I know what flour to use its my secret.
