For those of you having issues with it cutting off or not turning on I just took the battery out for a few seconds and put it back in and it worked fine after that. I’m not sure if this will help anyone but it was worth a try.

Also, it goes to sleep after it’s inactive for a while by default. Go to Settings / Device Settings and choose “never sleep” to stop that.

Oh yeah, I have one of those hotspot devices that I use for my home Internet connection and I LOVE it!! I can enjoy my Internet connection for hours, which lets me ENJOY using my two laptops. One of its GREATEST FEATURES is its PORTABILITY, which allows me to use it all over my apartment. I also like how I can use it to charge my cell phone too.

I want to purchase an internet security camera with the simple goal to create a “snapshot” view of my furnace and entrance way in my cabin that has NO INTERNET, cable or fiber in the area but a strong T-Mobile signal for my T-Mobile Android phone. I do not want cloud storage, motion, or sound activation. I just want to use my T-Mobile Android phone Security Camera app to connect with my cabin camera for about 20 seconds 3 times a day. My question is would this device work for this application: I would allow network activity and have the cameras, once I open my app., activate the 4G LTE data usage and then go to standby after I am completed?

So far, Internet is much stronger at home. The Hotspot Box is to Increase that more, and allow me to use as Portibility, with my laptop as I travel anywhere to continue making money online anywhere I choose to travel. I've got this device myself and I've been using it for my PS4 and I've been trying to do downloads while I'm at work but when I get home there's no noticable progress on any of the downloads and the hotspot has turned off despite being set to never go on stand by and my PS4 is also set to stay connected to wifi while in rest mode. I can't seem to figure out why this happens or a solution to it but if you need constant wifi this might not work for you, though if I play videogames online it's not a problem but the speeds can chug quite a bit despite being on the unlimited plan. Hope this helps!

Yes you have to charge it. Go talk to your cellphone carrier for prices. However, if you are receiving any government assistance you may get it completely free like I did.
I recently got one for my home internet with another provider because I don't want to have the same provider for mobile and internet however I give it A plus no buffering connection is steady quick and fast am in the Caribbean. 👌
I got my from my school with paid wife the speeds are really good and fast!

Update: so I ended up getting it and im not a fan. I first connected to my tv. Video quality wasn’t great which was expected but was also a flag. It kept cutting off to start with and I could not have any other devices connected otherwise it would slow down. I tried to my connect my iPad but I couldn’t get strong enough service to even view the web. That’s even with it connected alone. Not sure how others are connecting 5 devices. I have 50gb and did not Last more that 2 weeks for my tv.

I used it for a week or 2 until the internet became to slow to do anything, I was thinking maybe I used up all the 100gb but wouldn't that mean it wouldn't work at all instead of just being rlly slow?
With TMobile once you go over the high speed data it normally slows down

Works good on fortnite and any call of duty game. If you you play apex legends it’s kinda laggy and you can still download games but it takes forever
Not good fornite very laggy, call of duty very laggy, minecraft realms laggy, and to dowload 1gb it will take around 4 hours. If your in a xbox party mic cuts out.

@@bromrussell1 cause after u used up all the gigabytes off the plan u payed for you gotta wait till the plan resets in a couple weeks an it will be fast once again. U payed for unlimited but not high speed unlimited
@@stephaniecorona3990 I recommend this one as i never used the metro hotsopt. For the tablet I recommend just getting cellular data so all the connections going constantly to her tablet. If she is young though then yes this will be perfect for her an Netflix. It does run out of gigabytes quick though. I went with the 100 gigabyte career by TMobile

I had this Alcatel and it was a real piece of shit, kept turning off _multiple_ times a day for no reason, whether running the wifi or tethered to my pc. Many people have complained about this. I then got the Franklin R850 which has been great, but now need to buy the T9 because of the Sprint/T-Mobile merger. So, I'm guessing the T9 should be good as well...I hope.

IDK if you're still wondering but yes you can, but there are some cons now that there is cars your ping will get high when you try to drive a vehicle, and when you join a creative match you have to wait at least a few minutes for your ping to drop from 500-1000 back to you're usual ping you have in creative, other then that the game is definitely playable.
