I believe so, Vertex Wireless talks about distributor selection for Franklin wireless and its hotspots.

Yes it is. I was a Sprint customer before T-mobile bought them out. Technically I'm still a sprint customer and T-mobile is still merging the two networks.

i am using the tmobile test spot collpad surf and few of the other test hotspots, although the test drive themselfs cannot be unlocked because they are just test hotspot units. i am with QLINK WIRELESS GOVERNEMNT LIFELINE. and using the sim in the tmobile test drive.. i guess any MVNO that run off of tmobile will work in the tmobile locked test drives... but its very nice..
just lettting people out there know if you get a test drive from tmobile dont plan on trying to get it unlocked.... i have few tmobile hotspots themselfs retail, tmobile have unlocked them for me already.....tmobile is just better company compared to ATT OR VERIZON....

I wasn't satisfied with the performance of the device. The iPhone that I was using at the time was getting better upload and download speeds.
Neither of my devices were enrolled in any 5G plan nor was I interested in it. The idea behind buying the hotspot was to pay less on monthly bill.
I returned the device and ended the contract I had with Sprint. The iPhone XR was great and always performed well. More tools on it than I could ask for.
Today I only have an iPad with an unlimited plan for $15 and Qwerty Slide Phone with Tello at $5 a month.

Logan, according to my research the phone and the T9 hotspot support the band for 5G. 5G is a trademarked logo and I believe that they charge more just to stamp the boxes with the logo.

And fo reply to this 2.4g and 5ghz are different then 1g 2g 3g 4g 5g 6g what these mean are Network signals that cell phones run ISP and internet is mainly used for home internet or hotspots or like for 2.4ghz people who have drones and certain things like that so there is a possible chance t9 Franklin can support 5g cell data but I'm not sure
