As juicy Yamamoto Kraken is: If you reach it, the game is already over. It's only valuable if your team sucks so hard but you own the enemy team in a similar way and have a 1v2+ so you can dish out as much damage as fully intact team would do.
Been a DD main for 7 years, it is Battleships that do the most damage, just today a Montana at 15km shot me and the shells were so close together he hit me with 90% of his shells, i am in a Khaba doing 45knts at 15km away.......
Yeahhhhhhhh, that's how I'm feeling getting into DDs. Sidenote: Would you say Delny is worth getting? I find myself wanting to play the Russian gunboat over the French one.
@@theemeraldpickaxe3991 i have had it since it came out and i play Khaba way more, it is good, don't think it is shit, it is a hard little dd to kill but only having 6 guns in 3 turrets makes it feels like you are throwing everything you have for far to long just to kill something.
@@theemeraldpickaxe3991 Don't get discouraged- DDs might not do a ton of damage (most of the time, anyway), but they typically impact gameplay, especially in Ranked, far more than any other class. And if high-tier can be frustrating, at mid tier, you can literally win matches yourself if you play well. It's very satisfying.
I do recommend you go into the training room with a couple others, one in a dd and one in a bb. Have the dd be near the bb, lock on to the dd and then fire on the bb and see if the dispersion is different then if you are just locked on the bb
Been playing a lot of Colombo and yodo and I notice angling seems to improve the dispersion on those ships, maybe satsuma is the same as once Potato angled the dispersion improved.
A game mechanic I thought would be great was the longer you're aiming at a target, the better the aim / dispersion will be. It's then a trade off between firing more shots Vs firing more accurate ones.
Maybe as a supership gimmick, people already tunnel vision in wows and don't pay attention to the map so encouraging staring at one target for an extra 5+ seconds is a recipe for even less map awareness
Unpopular, but I have a secondary based Satsuma that absolutely murders any DD, Sub, and most cruisers that get close. Those 100mm and 203mm guns are crazy! And that dispersion gimmick is used every time it pops up to make up for not having the main gun dispersion mod.
I always have to chuckle when seeing your name in game because, in French - PQ is the acronym for toilet paper (papier cul). No disrespect meant mate, thank you for the good mood, always a pleasure to watch your videos 🤣
Only got Yamamoto's 2nd wind ability once. I was playing Yamato and somehow got 7 ship kills. Would've been 8 but teammate got him. Btw I did get first blood as well in said match.
Inoticed i sometimes aim my anti sub wrong if i just look at the surface, since the sub is below the surface it becomes some wierd angle so for example the ping marker is not exactly above the sub from your angle so you need to check minimap aswell kind of (if anyone can understand what i mean lol)
thats not what i am talking about, even if u know exactly where the sub is when its spotted under water if you put asw directly on it you will see on minimap that it is in fact not directly above it because of the angle @@danh7411
Some battleships struggle to hit dds at anything thing beyond point blank range. Then you get hyper accurate fast shell bbs and the 12 gun fast shell shot gun bbs and it sucks to be a dd. 2 savos from my Bourgogne at ranges 15km or less and ill have15-20 shell hits and 15-30k damage on a dd they tend to learn their lesson real fast if they live and never come near me again.
Such a shame they killed the Satsuma (and the Shikishima, by the way) by breaking the guns sound... I just bought the Satsuma, avec now I learn that this sound bug is known, and has been for months, but it is still here. Why is it that you can only enjoy the best gun sound in the game if you are NOT in the ship ? I am almost considering selling the ship back. So frustrating.
Yeah, but this special bust is useless. You have kraken very rarely and even, when you achieve it, this is in the last time of match, when almost all enemy ships are dead…
I got it with yamato once vs a full health thunderer who still had all his heals and had the misfortune of me finally coming round the islands at 10 km he could never go dark and I over-matched everything and had a 18 second reload. Added 100k damage to my total in less than 1 min at the end
Satsuma to me, is a garbage ship that becomes suddenly greatly OP in the hands of bad players. Every single person in my clan agrees Satsuma players are the worst kind.
I'm not sure there is anything more fearsome than PQ in the Satsuma with a yamamoto kraken and full arms race reload buffs...

My best shot ever was at the very start of a game in the Yamato. I dev struck a full health North Carolina in one salvo from across the map.

I had amazing accuracy in a Preussen when shooting destroyers

I feel like if you’re getting hit in a Khaba (especially at 15km), then you’re not playing it right…
Need to speed juke more. :p
I did this once in a Yamato years ago. The rush you get from doing it is crazy. 8 kills, 233K.

Super heavy AP is such a meme, but definitely fun from time to time. I have it on my Fuso and it works great for snipes
Got my first Yamamoto Kraken 3 days ago in a Kitakaze. It's sooo fun to proc.
Enemy Mino : "oohh sheeett" 🤣🤣🤣

which makes absolutely zero sense, but it's weegee, nobody knows lmao
Annapolis has some trolly armor. It gets away with going broadside a lot more than DM.
can you do the Spanish cruiser line with IFHE and HE damage increase? and is the Alvarno getting a buff?
Me playing the violin as I watch the shells head towards the Brisbane

@TELE-GRAM_--PotatoQuality Prize??? Did I enter something, win, and didn't even know it??
Very nice! What crosshair do you use?
10:06 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The dispearsioon on DD coment resonated today all my DD salvos were tight
Im excited to get this ship, so beautiful and I love Yamato. Just 40million credits left to get XD

I saw the Russian cruiser named Komissar in battle a few days ago. is that a new ship?
Amazing dude 👌.

Welcome to satsumas little suprized bad dispersion
That's a huge huge japanese cruisers
huge might be an understatement lol.
think this will be my first SS i love my yammy so much pure brute of a BB 😍😍
What mod are you using?
Holy shlt, very well played, 7 kills, 310k damage

ping marker is no where near the actual position. even if you use minimap ping marker mod lining up ASW planes is lottery
Sub ping is further away and does not indicates where the sub is heading

How to reveal the enemy ship angle like that

What key changes the view with spotter plane?

4:12 Shot the Ibuki at 22+ km straight middle of the ship... are you really good or are you Warpacking?
Monster guns 😎
still grinding him :c
My first Yamamoto Kraken was with Shima, it included first blood aswell. 8 Kills in the End :D
Holy

And if you're in a very close game and carried the team alone, but still almost lose, you most certainly want to have those buffs to carry even harder
That has to be the worst Annapolis player
Wow…yet another Super ship game…
Got first

Why not use the dispersion ability at 8:40? Looks like the perfect opportunity.
