Camera, sound, and explanation spot on. Keep the fault finding vids coming. The ones you featured in on artisan were also explanatory and methodical and easy to take in. 👍👍👍👍
"McLovin" 😂😂. Brilliant work john, keep up the work. Fantastic content and advice for anyone in any labour job. Even the likes of the plastic bag , simple but effective at keeping you clean and able to get on with the job. Keep em coming.
A proper representation of what we have to go through as a spark. Presented in an everyday relatable way and not trying to push products or an agenda! Kudos to you bro! Man fox shit is the worst 😂😂😂
Nice work John, don't we get the nicest jobs in winter. I always carry a cheap rubber mat with me as I do quite a bit of outside stuff. Saves your knees and clothes & it's easy to wash off. Don't know about you but for me, fault finding & repair has always been my favourite part of the job. Keep up the good work buddy.
Had the same problem on several occasions and found the best solution is ideal weatherproof wire nuts. Like most in uk wouldn’t usually use wire nuts but these work great on garden lighting as they are filled with silicone gel. Great content thanks for sharing.👍
thanks John. I think your fault finding vids with Artisan were always well received, so as and when you get the opportunity with jobs, a series on fault-finding will go down well. As for the gel in the Tee, have you thought about putting the gasket and lid on with just the bottom screw nipped up, with the top open a cm to put the nozzle in while you fill it? Ideally a Wiska box would be used but like in that scenario of quick fix you might also be able to use a Wago Gelbox for the line and neutral Wago 221 413 connectors with that gunk just around the CPC Wago but I can't find my gelboxes to see if the will fit in the Tee
dont be hard on yourself alot of us are just happy you brought us along and sharing your knowledge & hate to break it to you - but on that 1st box there was a twig that managed to get inbetween the box and lid just as your doing up the screws
12:55 Reminds me of the worst job I ever had - working in a public health laboratory testing sputum samples for tuberculosis - viscosity was similar although it was a bit more colourful!!!😂
Yeah, aloe vera. A likely story 😂 Nice video John, good to see you living it up in the shrubs of the South East! I hope your customer appreciated you going out of your way to get the lights back on this job 💪 Out of interest, would you have rigged up singles in conduit for that job? Cheers
Wago make a Gel Pack that is rated to be fully submersed. They have to match the 221s that you used. No way 3 would fit in those JBs so if you get called back, maybe delete those conduit boxes and install an IP rated square box big enough to house the 3 Gel Packs.
Brilliant great video Nice to see John in action Very educational John. Do you know any electrical software for installation design and produce final schematic For domestic use. Single phase or 3 phase If you can recommend me any software I would be very appreciating that it’s just for small domestic or a small commercial like your shops you know to lay out the distribution board and calculation of fuses cables factors all this kind of things according to BS7671 if you know any software I would be 100% appreciating thank you so much
@@Ibrahim-vt2tz I can't say I've ever used any electrical design software. I know Mark Alison from Apprentice 121 is a big advocate for a certain brand (can't remember the name). Check out his channel for info on it 👍
Hey John, I just saw your last instagram stories / post from this time and date, I don’t think that’s a good look for your business man, don’t post stuff like that if you’re trying to start a business.
@@lizoyako6414 Why not message over there? 😂 I spent long enough not being the myself at my last firm mate. Life is too short to be serious all the time.

Thanks for the video John. I wouldn't worry too much about "Artisan" style presentation. Content is what' it's about for me. Fault finding especially.

this is why unless we can;t all outdoor electrical goes on separate RCBOs. And the wiska gel is a good (if expensive) call
Real world electrikery
C1 - immediate danger - fox shite
I'm guessing the original installer didn't put any glue on the joins/couplers, hence lots of water and crud getting in over time.
