Man I don't know why im even trying the guy has been drawing before I was born he's a genius and still practices he did megaman designs at 13 what was I doin at 13 I was watchin teen titans no matter how much I try I still am stuck to skill level where I just redraw fan art and do crappy original fan art I have been practicing evreyday I just suck I can't even draw a simple anime face right I do gesture drawing evreyday day but I just suck there's always something off
@@ryuga528 Just keep at it man. Chances are that you are better than you think and you just have high standards set for yourself. Let me put it different, evereytime I see my own art I also think: I could have done this better or that. Kinu Nishimura talks a lot about that stuff in her comments in artbooks, her art is INSANE. Art should be fun, so its all chillll ;)
His artstyle and ability to draw multiple characters from various franchises and IP's in innovative ways and cool poses is second to none. Truly one of the best manga artist from his generation by a mile!
He definitely has a natural eye to make things ''look cool'' I just love the way he drew Mega Man, imo that's just insane, he made a classic well established character ''more awesome'' and THAT is hard to do.

Seeing all of murata’s art makes me want to draw as well. The huge art works full of characters doing what they do art my favorites, but the single character ones are also very detailed too.
Thanks man! Yeah, it's been quite a challenge to get everything right (especially the audio). Also I actually had no real idea yet how to best represent the art+ interesting topics. I recently reread all of one punch man (at least up to the latest English volume release). Murata has got to be one of the greatest artists of all time. His work is beyond detailed and expressive

I feel like everyone who wants to make their own manga wants to draw like him, I’m definitely one of those people he’s my favorite mangaka of all time! Lmao my profile picture is literally his artwork, I obviously don’t want to copy his art style though, just integrate aspects of his style into mine. It’s hard though cuz I definitely find myself comparing myself to him, then I lose my confidence in drawing cuz I’m like how the hell could I ever reach that level
He's awesome, 100% agreed. It's good that you try to compare yourself with him, but just as a gentle reminder; this guy draws for a loooong time. He has so much hours in it already, especially since when he was young he could already draw well. And ofc he has talent, but drawing is still a skill that needs a lot of hours to improve. Basically, don't get discouraged by the result and rather compare to yourself a year ago -> if you improved you are on the right track. Keep it up!
Imagine being an incredibly talented artist and then reaching out to your favorite webcomic artist and straight up "Hey let me cook something for ya" and the making one of the greatest and most underrated manga of all time. Man, Murata sensei is one of the goats, up high on a Miura level.
his Goku rendition is badass, imagine him remaking the whole Z saga, not the story but only re-pose/re-arrage/re-panel the saga with his design, and then having Wit or Madhouse animating that, Japan gonna have flying cars after that thing aired
One of the few artists who's anime adaptations are a downgrade in the art. Eyeshield manga is amazing from an art perspective plus his detailed flip style in opm is better than most anime lol
