This swamp ash is really light. This wood is over 20 years old and is the highest quality one-piece swamp ash I have ever seen.

It is SO nice to see a guitar builder use the CORRECT side of the wood blank. Too often the ONLY consideration for this (which side of the blank will be the face of the guitar) has been aesthetics. Regardless of whether you have a one piece, 2 piece or 3 piece blank, the 'Growth ring orientation' needs to be considered. The face of the guitar should have the growth rings at the angle of growth that is reaching the outside of the tree (a tree grows up and out in unison). So the part that touches your belly as you are playing is from deeper in the tree and the part that is facing those that are watching is closer to the outside of the tree. Just like dropping a rock into a pond, the circles will resonate outwards. If you have the opposite of this, the guitar will have less reosonant sound. The area of the blank ( if its a 2 or 3 piece) that contains the area where the bridge and neck pocket is located is of most importance.
I don't know if you were aware of this, but you chose the CORRECT side of your one piece blank 👍

This was the first time I learned that you have to consider the front and back of a guitar based on the direction of the growth rings. I think it will be a great help in my guitar making in the future.
The wood grain direction of this guitar being made is such that the pattern desired by the client is on the front.

메이플 색깔과 무늬가 아주 좋군요
스트랫의 경우 헤드머신에 감긴 줄과 너트에서 브릿지로 가는 줄이 일자가 되는데
헤드머신 구멍을 어떻게 뚫어야 정확히 일자로 맞는지 궁금하더군요
또한 1번줄과 6번줄의 넥 여유 간격도 어떻게 해야 하는지 궁금합니다
펜더는 마치 대충 만든것처럼 1번 6번줄이 넥에 센터가 맞지 않으면
넥을 잡아 돌리면 맞아서 좀 우스웠는데
ESP기타를 만져 보고 정교함에 깜놀 했었죠
완편이 기대 됩니다
아, 맞다. 스컹크 라인이었죠.
헤드 머신 구멍 위치는 딱히 고민할 필요 없이 도면대로 뚫어주기만 하면 됩니다. ㅎㅎ
아님 일러스트레이터나 캐드 등에서 각각의 줄 실제 굵기대로 그려놓고 헤드머신을 위치시켜줘도 돼요.
