best collection so far! funny how over a year later and these vintages shown in this guys collection are blowing up in popularity now among collectors! this guy was ahead of his time!
I have seen this video at least 8 to 10 times on different occasions, every time I watch it, I enjoy the versatile and wonderful collection Mr. Alan Maleh has, the colors the aesthetics, everything about this collection is awesome.
I've watched almost all the episodes of talking watches now, and this is by far my favorite. His collection is truly diverse, incorporates very interesting aesthetic elements, and focuses on pieces that are genuinely accessible to a lot of people. Please, more like this!
I genuinely love the fact that he is actually wearing his watches !!! U can se scratches on the glass on the case, u can see passion! It’s not all about the idea of owning a watch but also WEARING IT living with it
This episode is by far my favorite I've seen. I like his taste. I'm an aesthetics person as well so I would say we have somewhat the same kind of taste. I liked his collection very much. The roulette dial really stood out to me!
For me, this collection was all about the enjoyment of wearing a watch every day. A beach watch, an outdoor watch, something hipster cool vintage and all with eye catching style.
I think it's funny when they're talking about the bubble back, Alan says, maybe wearing 'purple sweater, white shirt, army green pants', switch the pants to jacket and it is exactly what Ben is wearing. :P
+Josh An lols I made that obervation a few times. Glad someone else caught it. He projected via the one of the archetypal modern man, such as the host himself.
"you can have style under a thousand dollars" this is a fucking surprise to some people? Seiko SARB, Melbourne Flinders, Orient Mako XL orange, Cobra De Calibre, Victorinox, Vostok, Sea-Gull, the list goes on and on and on and on... and only 2 of those were over 400 USD
Honestly. Yeah. I'm sure there are those who enter the hobby not knowing exactly what their doing. Some may not understand movement finishing and the whole "90% of the price goes into the last 10%" so it's an important point to make.
I own a very elegant yet somewhat cheap Fossil. People still love to look at it, they tell me i'm a fool for wearing that in public because of the fear that it would be stolen. Although i only paid $200 for it. Plus it gives of many beautiful reflections which also catches people's eye. Point being, you don't have to pay for a Rolex, Patek, or a Audemars Piguet to get attention.
OfficialEpic222 I completely agree, i own a fossil and a seiko and people notice them and ask about them, always questioning the necessity of something that they think is expensive.
wow you are right, literally every single one of these watches is for sale on this guys site. I understand that many collectors flip to gather funds for a new purchase, but don't come on talking watches and say you have a connection to each and every watch. I entirely doubt the validity of his stories now. very surprised to see this happen actually, I know Ben is very genuine and I don't think he would be ok with this, I doubt he knew. because of this it is my least favorite episode.
And if you had bought that Certina you'd have a great ROI. Just saw one for sale for 3500. Also, almost every watch I've bought and sold I had a connection with, all I read here is people that don't want to spend a premium to not have to scour online for months or years even to find something special.
random people at my firm still look down on me for wearing a grand seiko spring drive...they didn't know it costs more than many swiss watches. now I need lexus LFA car to complement my watch.
i like that he took the alternative approach to collecting watches. his watch collection shows his unique style. some are cheaper and others are not. he was drawn to them all the same. the oriosa is a beautiful piece. i just looked up a similar one black and bronze. it might be mine if i get to it in time.
It's taken me a while to understand what Mr Maleh is all about, but I think I get him now. And although his aesthetics are not for everyone, he offers a compelling perspective on watches.
This gentleman wears his watches. Many are vintage but, he is adding his own story to each piece. Very much enjoyed the video save the investment aspect.
I think that Mr. Alan Maleh has got some great colection of time peaces that makes the jaw slide down. I like each and every one of the watches, and it seems that he is in to colorfull watches. I wish I could have such a colection of my own. Respect.
do you mean the Heuer? This was before the Tag part showed up and ruined the name of the brand. I'm not surprised he doesn't have any Tags in his collection
Great taste and he makes no apologies for buying on his personal taste as opposed to some that don't seem to have such a passion. The others seem to be investment oriented, not true watch lovers. He buys based on a love for the beauty. He mentions a personal connection and the fun of having watches he loves.
Cool video, however, it's not really his collection though, but merely the products he sells In his web store. And even then, the watches are very overpriced.
In the beginning, the interviewer states how Alan Maleh even has watches under a $1000 dollars in his collection and wears them all, as if that's so magnanimous of him. What is it with these interviews where you have to wear an expensive watch or it just doesn't fly . . . ?
Great Video! It's awesome to see that he owns hundred dollar watches and more expensive pieces as well. This is what it's about, what YOU want to collect. I own a few vintage watches, paid anywhere from $100-$180 and I feel like a million bucks when I wear them. Someday average joe me can hopefully get a hold of a nice Speedmaster or Roley.
Welcome back to talking Paul Newmans, I’m Ben Clymer and today we’re going into an interesting and varied collection of brands including Rolex, Rolex and Rolex.
Who is the carefree brother in the background at the start of the video? 🤣🤣🤣😎 Without a care in the world, time is the last thing on his mind... only wondering what is on his wrist or collection. This episode is timely timeless!
Alan Maleh is an extraordinary man with a wealth of knowledge on many fascinating subjects----in this case, it's watches. I loved this interview of Maleh by Benjamin Clymer.
Every watch video i see people have the same old watches, nice to see he's got a few different pieces. I personally think a seiko of some sort should be in everyones collection wether it be baby tuna, tuna, darth tuna, sarb, stargate, orange monster, titanium samurai, grand seiko, flightmaster the list is endless or if you want vintage, bullheads, bellmatic's,sealions or the humble 5
I don't know how seriously I can take a guy when he groups lange with the other 'high end swiss watches'. Also, oddly enough, he speaks about these watches as though they are part of his private collection yet most of them are for sale on his website.(quite overpriced may I add). Don't get me wrong I enjoyed almost all the other talking watches episodes. They were great. This one, not so much. It just seemed like one big ad for his website and if you actually visit his website and click timepieces you'll see what I mean.
I know that swiss watches are the finest quality and style etc.. But i personally prefer Japanese, Chinese (and around that region) watches. Watches like Citizen, Casio and Seiko are great to me and they have a massive range of style (from rugged military, to elegant and everything in between) with features like atomic (radio controlled) watches that are the most accurate watches in the world. So if you want to collect a few watches and appreciate good quality and accurate timepieces then these are great. Even for the rich people like this guy.
best collection so far! funny how over a year later and these vintages shown in this guys collection are blowing up in popularity now among collectors! this guy was ahead of his time!
I have seen this video at least 8 to 10 times on different occasions, every time I watch it, I enjoy the versatile and wonderful collection Mr. Alan Maleh has, the colors the aesthetics, everything about this collection is awesome.
He wears a watch thats under a thousand hope he doesn't get confused for a homeless man.
Genius. A man after my own heart you are.
We need an episode with Ben showing off his collection.
it essentially already exists. look up the coolhunters video.
Wei Koh did a 2 part series with Ben on the Revolution Watch channel.
This is my favorite collection in the series and the guy I'd probably most enjoy a beer with. That blazer is pretty great.
I've watched almost all the episodes of talking watches now, and this is by far my favorite. His collection is truly diverse, incorporates very interesting aesthetic elements, and focuses on pieces that are genuinely accessible to a lot of people. Please, more like this!
its still the best. screw all the others.
This guy is the most "New York" ive ever seen.
I LOVE how beat up every piece is. This man wears and loves ever watch he owns.
For me, this collection was all about the enjoyment of wearing a watch every day. A beach watch, an outdoor watch, something hipster cool vintage and all with eye catching style.
Another interesting instalment. As valid as any other. He's a watch nut that collects what he likes. End of story. I enjoyed it.
Not sure this gentleman and I have the same taste in watches, but it's great seeing someone so passionate about them. Thanks for the video!
All my watches are below $1,000.
combined
Andrew Piatek all my watches are above 20k and M serious 😬
Hedi Benmbarek I hope you are truly passionate otherwise you are just overcompensating
Sebastian Shaw ok
Andrew Piatek iii
This guy's collection has the most soul out of all the guys in this series. Great collection.
He loves red, blue and white. Throw those colours in and he'll say it's aesthetically beautiful. LOL.
Excellent video. I love man's taste. I knew it right when I saw that he matched his suit with his beard and his tie with his hair.
"you can have style under a thousand dollars"
this is a fucking surprise to some people?
Seiko SARB, Melbourne Flinders, Orient Mako XL orange, Cobra De Calibre, Victorinox, Vostok, Sea-Gull, the list goes on and on and on and on... and only 2 of those were over 400 USD
Honestly. Yeah. I'm sure there are those who enter the hobby not knowing exactly what their doing. Some may not understand movement finishing and the whole "90% of the price goes into the last 10%" so it's an important point to make.
Collectors love obscure watches to show they are unique individuals. God forbid you wear a Victorinox.
I own a very elegant yet somewhat cheap Fossil. People still love to look at it, they tell me i'm a fool for wearing that in public because of the fear that it would be stolen. Although i only paid $200 for it. Plus it gives of many beautiful reflections which also catches people's eye.

OfficialEpic222 I completely agree, i own a fossil and a seiko and people notice them and ask about them, always questioning the necessity of something that they think is expensive.
All these watches were/are for sale on his magazine website lol
exactly, which made this video seem disingenuous to me. it's basically a sales pitch.
Many watch collectors also have the habit of "flipping" pieces to fund for and try new watches.
wow you are right, literally every single one of these watches is for sale on this guys site.
This is a sales pitch.
"Lovely sky blue" (faded af)
"Details on the bezel" (scratches on the bezel)
And if you had bought that Certina you'd have a great ROI. Just saw one for sale for 3500. Also, almost every watch I've bought and sold I had a connection with, all I read here is people that don't want to spend a premium to not have to scour online for months or years even to find something special.

Yes, I love Oriosa too!
It's taken me a while to understand what Mr Maleh is all about, but I think I get him now. And although his aesthetics are not for everyone, he offers a compelling perspective on watches.
Yeah bro, me too, Mr. Maleh is all about that $$$ as all of these watches were (and maybe still are) posted for sale on his website.
Great series, I love how diverse his collection is.
The Haste, Certina, and Heuer Monza are up my alley. Interesting collection.
the begining of this came on and my mom was like "YOURE watching 60 minutes?"
Love to come back to this ep, best collection of watches ever on talking watches 🤩
This gentleman wears his watches. Many are vintage but, he is adding his own story to each piece. Very much enjoyed the video save the investment aspect.
Keep coming back to Alan’s collection.
I think that Mr. Alan Maleh has got some great colection of time peaces that makes the jaw slide down. I like each and every one of the watches, and it seems that he is in to colorfull watches. I wish I could have such a colection of my own. Respect.
this episode is a cut above many, I wish I owned his collection.
Best vintage collection so far
Thanks man I love the seriea of talking watches...
Alan is a watch collectors, watch collector. Respect!
He definitely likes his colour display. Stays impressive these Talking Watches Series! Amazing
The TAG is just so incredibly beautiful.
do you mean the Heuer? This was before the Tag part showed up and ruined the name of the brand. I'm not surprised he doesn't have any Tags in his collection
''Im purely aesthetics driven, thats why I have some watches here that are under a 1000 dollars!''.... as I weep into my Ramen.
Great taste and he makes no apologies for buying on his personal taste as opposed to some that don't seem to have such a passion. The others seem to be investment oriented, not true watch lovers. He buys based on a love for the beauty. He mentions a personal connection and the fun of having watches he loves.
What amazing taste..
Cool video, however, it's not really his collection though, but merely the products he sells
In his web store.
And even then, the watches are very overpriced.
that's fucked up if it's true.
He is my uncle he closed some of his stores, but most of them are from his collection
Finally. A new episode. Love watch these guys geek out
Most enjoyable overview of his collection.
Some of the funkiest watches I've seen on this series. Superb.
Love that omega and the heure oriosa sensational haste amazing certina wow great collection

a fan of eveything. this guys is probly the best so far
Looking at getting into vintage because of your videos......classy operation......
In the beginning, the interviewer states how Alan Maleh even has watches under a $1000 dollars in his collection and wears them all, as if that's so magnanimous of him. What is it with these interviews where you have to wear an expensive watch or it just doesn't fly . . . ?
I really enjoy these episodes
I thought he was a fun and upbeat interview. It was cool to hear how he collects his watches to taylor his outfits.
Colourful and classy collection.
Great Video! It's awesome to see that he owns hundred dollar watches and more expensive pieces as well. This is what it's about, what YOU want to collect. I own a few vintage watches, paid anywhere from $100-$180 and I feel like a million bucks when I wear them. Someday average joe me can hopefully get a hold of a nice Speedmaster or Roley.
whats the model of the omega at 7:39?
Love these episodes, that is such a cool collection!
Can anybody give me an information about maxima watch,I can't find anything on the internet.
same! Anyone?
Absolutely beautiful collection. Great taste!
Welcome back to talking Paul Newmans, I’m Ben Clymer and today we’re going into an interesting and varied collection of brands including Rolex, Rolex and Rolex.
Really inspired me to look up some vintage watches. Your videos are the best.
Who is the carefree brother in the background at the start of the video? 🤣🤣🤣😎 Without a care in the world, time is the last thing on his mind... only wondering what is on his wrist or collection. This episode is timely timeless!
More Talking Watches please! Keep up the fantastic work!
There's something strange about this guys 5 o'clock shadow. I just can't put a finger on it. I think it's too perfect.
It looks weird. Like drawn on or something
Really liked this one! Great collection. Bit to colorful for me... but I guess that’s the sunny weather over there ;)
Phenomenal collection theyre all unique but versatile. The bezel on that GMT is crazy, it turned into a 'millennial' color palette!
Great series. Really love how you've done it.
Beautiful collection
Nice little shout out to my home town of Spitalfields, great to in his accent
Alan Maleh is an extraordinary man with a wealth of knowledge on many fascinating subjects----in this case, it's watches. I loved this interview of Maleh by Benjamin Clymer.
I just love the watches, especially the one's under 1000 dollars. Great taste.
If you like a watch, you like a watch. Does it matter if someone else doesn't like it? People make a huge deal out of watches, wear what you like.
My favorite episode
Curious to know which vintage Longines is in his collection.
I love his sport coat with the elbow pads and buttons
Enjoyed this! Amazing collection
This video was the reason vintage Divers from the 70's went up in value on 2014
What a cool collection!
random…but does anyone know the jacket brand Ben is wearing?
Such an amazing collection!
I don't know how seriously I can take a guy when he groups lange with the other 'high end swiss watches'. Also, oddly enough, he speaks about these watches as though they are part of his private collection yet most of them are for sale on his website.(quite overpriced may I add). It just seemed like one big ad for his website and if you actually visit his website and click timepieces you'll see what I mean.
This just popped up. Has it really been 7 years?
6:03 Details? You mean scratches on the bezel?
LoL
Nice collection tho. :-{D
+MahtiJaakkoProductions aka "patina"
means he wears it lol
I think he's buying and selling these rather than 'owning' them
best episody by far
One of the best TW’s
Glad I’m not the only person addicted to chronographs.
this is an alright episode
cool dude. cool collection.
This guy is class!!
Videos are always great but sheesh that music doe
I know that swiss watches are the finest quality and style etc.. But i personally prefer Japanese, Chinese (and around that region) watches. Love these videos. Keep it up!
pleasantly surprised! beautiful collection with great dial porn! Was expecting to see a totally different collection.
most realistic and down to earth episode of talking watches
That guy at the start of the video......SWAG
It's about time for another episode lol
Beautiful watches. Nuff said
6:04 dang he beat that aquanaut so much that I see no details on bezel.
Cody 👍🏻👍🏻
This guy is the most New York. He is New York.
Watches will NOT go up as much as the stock market over time- but great video nonetheless.
The Rolex and Patek only guys make me yawn. Those guys wouldn't spit on a $1000 watch. Arrogant bastards.
