"I Didn't Know Reaper Could Do This!" I have been saying that just about everyday using it for the last 7 years now. Now, just hook up the built in looper and you can do a live show.
You forgot to mention a couple of other key things 1) Both devices have to be on the same network. They don't necessarily need internet but they do need to be connected to the same network (eg the same wireless router) 2) The way you did it uses IP address - if you are on a network with an internet connection you may want to click the option that says to use rc.reaperfm as this uses an actual website as the engine instead. This option may be better for iPhone users as since iOS 10 iPhones have an in built security measure that means when not connected to the internet, the iPhone may not load ip addresses. Once you have an internet connection this problem goes away but was incredibly frustrating for some of my band members trying to use the "more me" function because their iPhone would just not load the IP address if not connected to the internet After a bit of Googling I discovered that it's a design feature in the iOs that is designed to prevent hacking but has kind of backfired in this scenario
This will make it MUCH simpler to track vocals when I'm alone. THANKS!!

Anyway you can display the mixer on the ipad?
Does anyone know of a way to see Reaper track METERS with a remote device ?
Didn't find any meters through the web remote...
Can you tell me how can i connect an ipad into reaper to use as an instrument? Studiomux does not working.
I haven’t used it as an instrument I’m afraid

Just Reaper, don't need no app.
