@DataEngineering I am unable to create a table under the database I have created. I am not seeing an option to create a table. When I try to create a table from the main page, it gives me four different options to create a table, but each option requires me to write an SQL query to create a table. It is not showing me an option to simply give it a name so it can write the SQL query in the backend. Could you please help me with this? Thanks. By the way, I am using the ADMIN account.

Yes ..right..this video was published long back.. and there are snowflake instances that are still having old web ui (so called legacy)... and since it is a cloud based platform, it is constantly adding features.

Yes, this playlist is primarily for data engineers and not targeted for business analysis... I have never got any request from business analyst.. may be ch-5 of this playlist may be useful as it talks more about snowflake snowsight user interface.
This is a very clear tutorial on snowflake, but can you please add the resources used in each videos (the files..) it'll be great to practice at the same time
Legacy webui is no more available but you can go and check the profile page and see if it allows you to select legacy as your next login. But I doubt, if you can do it.. for some of the old account, legacy can still be access.. but if you are using new trial edition.. you will not get access to it..

Yes, the UI has been chaning a lot ... for some region the upload comes and for some region, it appears.. I need to figure it out from snowflake documentation
in massive parallel processing computing approach, we use multiple computers (so called nodes, or slaves) and these computers, connected together is so called cluster.. ( sometime referred as master/slave in Hadoop/Bigdata world) I hope this clarifies..

I had 0 knowledge on cloud stuffs and in just 3 videos from you (+chatgpt for vocab) I feel much more confortable going forward. However, I have a problem: when I log in Snowflake, I have the view/UI you have at 5:21 (the one where you click on "app preview") But I don't know where and how to access the view/UI you have at 6:01. Please tell me how to do this.
For new snowflake accounts, it looks like the legacy web page is no more accessible... else to access the legacy webui, you have to go to profile link from your snowsight page and change the preference to land to legacy webui

Generally enterprise edition is commonly used in many large organisation. The legacy UI is now stopped by snowflake and you will get access to SnowSight (the modern webUI) to access snowflake. Yes IICS can be integrated with snowflake.
You are a pretty amazing individual. Thank you for these. Your time creating just one episode is quite long. Then you update the comments to notify us of updates to the actual application. You are busy, and I appreciate your efforts. At first I was concerned for audio - the sound is a bit low and almost muffled sounding, and of course to my American ears you have quite an accent. However, it's become less and less an issue by this 4th module. I'm getting used to it (that is a GOOD thing because I have a LOT of Indian co-workers!) and you also include a lot of text overlays that really help me to stay in tune. Again, MANY THANKS for what you have done here! As a former trainer, I applaud your efforts here and your end result. You've done a great job.

The Snowflake UI you're using is totally different from the free trial version I downloaded using your lesson 2. This is making it pretty difficult for me to follow the course. In general NO.. if you don't put object name during DDL, then everything is stored as upper case for example create or replace table my_db.my_schema."jaya T" Above statement will create a case sensitive table called java T with space between it On other hand.. create or replace table my_db.my_schema.jayaT This will create a table with name JAYAT Hope this helps..
