I have this exact hw97 in .22 with a Hawke 4-12x etched reticle scope. Its phenomenal! I shoot JSB 16gr. or H&N barracuda hunter pellets thru it and the accuracy is almost identical. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this rifle. I run a patch worm through the barrel every 500 rds. or so with ballistol, then an alcohol swab, and 1 more patch to remove any residue and its pinpoint accurate (if your hold is correct for springers)
I have owned this exact same rifle for a couple of years now. Initially, I was disappointed in its accuracy as I was spoiled by my PCPs. However, if one will take the time to learn to hold this ol gal correctly...and allow her to hold you as well, she will produce very near PCP accuracy. In America, a sub 12 spring gun has to perform its proverbial arse off. This rifle does. Mine is NOT for sale.
I had issues with my Blue/lam 97 also. Found out you can't put a ring on the receiver cap as it's not rigid. Make sure both rings are forward of the receiver cap and your accuracy and consistency will go up.
hello from Canada. l am thinking of buying a weihrauch hw97k for my 14 years old grandson. what scope do you suggest that is within $100 range and below? do you suggest a synthetic stock? thank you so much
Hi Lope Santos, stock choice is purely down to personal taste and weight. Regarding the scope, I would highly recommend spending more than $100. Check out the range of Hawke optics which I believe you can source over there. There are loads of reviews at www.gunmart.net to help you.
I wouldn't think so, since the cocking lever is connected to the breech and has to be closed to close the breech too. Maybe the breech closes a bit before the lever has gone all the way? Apologies for a late reply.
Thank you for sharing. I am undecided as to a choice between the HW35E, HW77 or this gun. It will be back yard target and small game hunting here in the California deserts. Your thoughts ?
nice , very nice infact , but how duz it compare up against the TX200 and the LGU? .. A LENGTHY ( no favoritism) shoot off at Pete's gun club , hosted by Gunmart would make excelent viewing
Well we do have a video on the LGV Master (ua-cam.com/video/ii_5QDV1LME/v-deo.html) and you can see the target/group size at 2.33. Now that was very accurate as well, a really good shooter. We also have the TX200 (ua-cam.com/video/u7pVNQu1XDE/v-deo.html) no target in that video but I assure you that shoots just as well. Simply put, you can't go wrong with any of these rifles and it purely down to personal preference in regards to weight, handling, trigger etc etc etc
@@GunMartTV got to be the 97 for me i actually own 3 got the stainless the blue laminate and a sfs kt, best Springers in the world in my opinion unless your hunting then its a 95 all the way. Keep up the good work guys!
I am thinking about getting another weihrauch, I have the hw50s in 22, I have been looking at the hw95 or the hw97, I would like to know which one you would recommend, thank you

For $100. Go with a red dot, AT3 tactical, primary arms, or vortex crossfire.
The luckiest grandson in the world
can you leave these with the cocking lever un latched between shots?
I wouldn't think so, since the cocking lever is connected to the breech and has to be closed to close the breech too. Maybe the breech closes a bit before the lever has gone all the way? Apologies for a late reply.
what scope mount is that?
Probably a Sportsmatch AOP55 or 56.
The 97K looks a lot better,
