Dual motor with Jets makes maneuvering much easier even for beginners. Proficient boat pilot can do it quickly, effectively and its good for businesses.
Because the jet boat is too advanced, they are faster more maneouvrable and can speed over extremely shallow water and even slide over solid ground on rivers, something impossible with a motor boat whose propeller would be destroyed. We've been using them in NZ since the sixties, it takes a long time for new inventions to catch on I suppose.
Our hamilton jet boat was purchased in 1970 , j52 gt version , currently undergoing a restoration , it was still preforming very well . Extremely inexpensive boat to run and maintain basically we went through 5 motors ( holden v8s really cheap to buy) and thats it , and besides you cant run your normal boat over a exposed sandbar at speed wi5hout a trip to the hospital , another trick the the jetboat is capable o.f
There are more advanced systems made by large companies such as Volvo Penta. Volvo Penta IPS is one of the industry largest and more companies making engines are producing something similar
I love that boat design
was doing this in 1982 on a csb dowty jets and sabre marine Motors

Hav you ever heard of the sticks not responding when you engage the transmission like stuck in one position

Awesome
I like that boat design. Anyone know the make?
+ianrkav looks like a Weldcraft Boat. Not sure though.
I think it looks AMF...ish
ianrkav do you ever find out the brand of the boat
Is this a single engine or dual engine setup? Are the engine controls dual lever or a single lever?
Dual engine with dual jets.
Thank you, John. I thought so due to the manoeuvrability. I have not seen a single slide sideways.
Cool demo, but a pilot does not get that proficient overnight, I don't care how good the boat is.....

Very impressive, why don’t more people use them?

Since the 40's actually.
