This content is great, and would be super useful to the design community as well. Any way you could get something like this reposted in one of Google's design channels?
At this time, on 2021, Do you think that is always better to use the native datepicker of HTML5 on behalf of the a11y, instead of the jQuery #datepicker? or can we make some extra coding in jquery or plain JS to force the jquery datepicker to be accessible for screen readers? What I need is to disable some dates, also to give the option to select a range of dates; all this is not possible with the HTML datepicker. JQuery makes all this easy for me, but... I think is hard to adapt the jquery components for screen readers, right?... what‘s your opinion? Thanks a lot. I am really concerned on a11y!
Why does iOS Voiceover allow tabbing to typically non-focusable elements in the browser?? On desktop with keyboard navigation tabbing only goes to tabbable/focusable elements. Inputs, buttons, anchors etc... Then using other modes of navigation moves focus to things like text, images, etc... But for some reason iOS Voiceover's default swipe left/right navigation will move between pretty much every element in a webpage whether it's focusable or not. Even things like visually hidden elements
If they wait for that supply drop in Nazjatar it's going to be what they see. Some developers use Webpack, but that's pretty advanced task. It's not much heavier than a necklace just to find them because playing. Breakthrough is touch less volume rockers can be created with radars, which require enormous power source and a decrease in a size.
