What is the name of the tool you used to remove the 2 screws- Torx t20? I couldn’t find it on your site or in the link you provided for tools you recommend.
I'm not an expert, but apparently that doesn't work because they VIN, mileage, etc, needs to match the original car. Supposedly you can reprogram a replacement but need to get one that is specifically reprogramable
I have a B6 1.8 T station wagon avant Auto. My question is: if you have to replace the custler with One from another car, do you have just to plug the new one in or it will need specific computer configuration? Thanks
@@bura280 My A4 2009 is from Canada I have replaced the cluster with one from the US before registering the car when I install the new cluster the air bag, the break light, the ABS warning came on and none of the needles move. Please help
The title says instrument panel removal, which is exactly what I need to do on my 2009 A4 cab. Then either replacing or repairing the LCD is a whole different video. Appreciate this Video.

Nice video only one question, if I have a new cluster can I just plug it and replace the old one? Or I need to do something else to use a new one?
