My father was an Army paratrooper in WWII, what would be considered spec ops today. He jumped with 101st and 82nd, serving behind enemy lines. He raised my brothers (one of which served in the Navy during Vietnam) and I to understand that it is because of men and women who do things many would condemn that we are free to live our lives. My respect, gratitude, and hope for the safe return for all of these men and women that they may know the peace and freedom they have fought for.
I send my respect & thanks to all of OUR Spec Ops. I am partial to the USAF Spec Ops & Army Special Forces. I had the honor to serve in both. It was 18 years of awesome memories & more pride & honor than words can express. Thank You all. To my friends & teammates that never returned alive. .I miss you. Thank You. Rest at ease now my fellow warriors!
I'm married to a retied air force vet and my dad did his 20 yrs in the air force also. May my dad rest in peace. The men and women who serve in the United States Military give their hearts and souls to serve and protect this wonderful country we live in. America has and will be always Great. I am very very proud of all our military forces. We must remember to always thank them for their service. Some come back to us that have been hurt in many ways. Their bodies could be changed forever and some with injuries from the neck up. Always remember they have memories that most of us cannot comprehend. Be proud of them! America will always be great. I love you Doug. I love you Dad.

MARSOC specializes in foreign internal defense and unconventional warfare, in addition to direct action. However, they retain special recon as a pretty big mission profile. That's great man. I wish u the very best. You will love it! Take advantage of EVERY opportunity presented to u; there will be many. I was a PJ then left the AF & went Army SF for 5 years. I wish I had stayed AF (Better environment in my opinion) but I wouldn't trade any of it now. . You'll love Lackland, Keesler, & Fairchild. . Then when u hit Hurlburt you'll really be on ur way brother. .You'll do well & always remember there will be a lot of people counting on u. Welcome young warrior
if my life goes to shit and i think i have nothing to live for when i get older i am signing up for this i am going to become a special ops soldier if i think i should just die i might as well die fighting for my country.

I agree with jonathan with that mindset you wont even survive the training...
***** that is right thinking like that in a negative way can cause you to fail in training. thats why i made my mind to where i pass all those things and over came my fears.

Before the seals it was the Rangers now it's the seals and now it's sas now delta force what I'm just confused even though the Rangers were the first military force in history and the first soldier I mean the Rangers served in more than 50 campaigns I'm going with the 75th Rangers I'm joining the army so I can be a ranger
Good luck! Great unit to be in!

Yeah they're badass for sure, never worked with em much but from the unit I met they're well rounded and aren't afraid to get themselves in when shit hits the fan
