Challenge: stop replying to troll comments just let them do their thing, they’ve been boosting this vid in the algorithm for months anyway so I’m not complaining
I know it won't mean much, but I am one of at least some viewers that came to your channel because of the "meme" and started to really appreciate your content. Keep doing what you do, man, I always keep up, and I will never engage in the toxicity/drama that comes from the internet being the internet
Same, my friend and I play gd a lot and I saw the meme and didn’t know who he was, and he showed me who it was and I ended up loving npesta because of his content
Gary, now I know I was wrong I messed up, and now you're gone Gary, I'm sorry I neglected you Oh, I never expected you to run away and leave me Feeling this empty Your meow right now would sound like music to me Please come home, 'cause I miss you, Gary Gary, come home (Gary, come home) Gary, can't you see I was blind? I'll do anything to change your mind More than a pet, you're my best friend Too cool to forget Come back 'cause we are family And forgive me for making you wanna roam And now my heart is beating like the saddest metronome Somewhere I hope you're reading My latest three-word poem Gary, come home Gary, come home (Gary, come home) Gary, come home (Gary, come home) Gary, come home (Gary, come home), ah Gary, come home Gary, come home Gary, won't you come home?
@@johncalkins6631 you know the meme about the dude screaming and crying from happiness, this is him, it feels bad, i mean for some reason most of the memes i saw him in was negative
@oskarek szydlowski holy shit dude you brutally beat him, let him run for a while giving him false hope if escape, then continued to beat him. Eventually letting him get outside of civilization, but pinning him down and bashing his head in slowly as all embers if hope sizzle out and his spirit breaks
This is a great video. It must have hurt to complete Kenos and for that to turn into a meme, which people put more of a focus on than the completion of the actual level. People think that we're invincible as internet personalities because they consider it a "dream job" and so want to bring us down a peg. It's like they're on a mission to do anything possible to bring us down into their negativity. It's sick really. It's taken a long time for me to stabilize how I go about content on UA-cam. I would often get really depressed and angry with the negative comments on my videos when I started in the community, which turned into happiness once I found success, which then turned into anger once again when my initial fame wore off and people would attack me for being stale. Now that I've done it for so long, I no longer get emotional waves and have stabilized, but it's taken me 5 or so years to get to this point. I don't even know if I'm in a better place being numb to it, because that also made me numb to some of the positive things in the community too. It's this weird balance I've found, and I don't even know if I like it or not.
Well I don't like to hear that you're numb Eric. I understand how you feel and I feel like you should have all the fun in the world doing your job. Do whatever it takes to feel that initial posotivity again. play new games. do new things. anything to bring back your happiness because thats what matters at the end of the day. We love you Eric!
It pisses me off how much people harass you and the other creators. They sit there behind their computers thinking they have all the power in the world.
Though I've never been a meme, I get what you're saying. The people who say those things are usually ignorant of the pain that this has brought you. It will eventually fade but be strong.
I was a meme once in my town, cause they filmed me in andorra, when my shoe got stuck on a elevator thingie, and I screamed "my fcking shoe" and idk why I became a meme, is pretty stressing when youre chilling with your friends and some random dude screams at you "mi puto zapato"
I really like this guy. I found this on my front page and I ended up being able to personally relate to his morals. Also as a person who loves rhythm games and anything similar, this is actual content I could watch and truly enjoy. Thank you for standing up for yourself.
@Logan Roof If you watched the video, then you'd know that he was mad over not getting the recognition he deserved. He wanted to be seen as a respectable Geometry Dash player, and instead, it was shit on and overlooked by his reaction. He even stated this multiple times in his video...
@Logan Roof I guess this just leads to how everyone has different opinions on different topics. You do you I do me, I don't wanna have a stupid internet argument over a person we don't know.
couldn't agree more although ngl I've seen significantly more toxic and messed up stuff stem from the GD community in general than most other communities. The vibe of the game is far more hardcore than something like idk, animal crossing lol. It's the unfortunate curse of the gd community.
I’m glad you were able to truly talk about and release everything that has affected you negatively. I know that some people don’t understand what you and others have gone through. They don’t even understand that others on the internet are actual people. I hope you understand that you are doing something amazing with this video. You have always helped so many people, even if you never see it. Just know, we love you npesta, take a break if you need to, and have a wonderful day!
It really sucks that the internet is the way that it is and there’s people that just want to hurt others who’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve watched you for a while, I’ve seen you grow as a content creator. I know that you just want to entertain people and make people happy, and the fact that people are attacking you for no reason is just really sad. I could never imagine what it’s like to be in your situation, but being a meme must really hurt when so many people only know you because of your emotional reaction, rather than what you spent 8 months on. Some people just want to spend their whole lives spreading nothing but negativity. It’s not worth it listening to them, they’ve got nothing good to say, whatever they’ve got to say has no meaning whatsoever, you gotta try to forget that those people exist. Having to deal with being a large youtuber and getting hate for no reason is something that not many people can deal with. But if you look on the bright side, with the help of doggie you’ve been able to grow you channel and get thousands of subscribers who genuinely care about you and what you upload, over 100,000 people subscribed because of your content and not because of the memes. We all love you npesta and we will always support you!
We love you man, I'm sorry the internet treated you like this. You teach a very valuable lesson that a lot of people should learn, but I'm afraid of how many new people grow on the internet, this idea won't grow quickly. It's terrible how people choose to have a second life on the internet, and with that second life, they choose to be an asshole. Thanks for talking about this, this kind of stuff can't be easy.
The "funny" thing is that there will be people who will do a hard 180-degree turn and support those affected, acting like they weren't one of those people who spams death threats and other nasty B.S. towards the people involved. They will wash their hands of the filth they were, just to appear to be a supporter from the very beginning, and that's one of the things that is a bit upsetting.
@@joltsy4935 I more so have a problem with those who only pretend to be a supporter from the beginning, as well as those who harass because it's "popular" then when it's no longer "cool" they stop and act like angels; then when it's cool again, they once again do the same thing.
@@nobodyeverinhistory The Internet is always like that nothing new the important part is that some of them actually change for the better and actually support him now in a good way
UV MinerGD Well yeah, the creator apologized, but of course that's only one of them. The cock island speed run, and all the other stuff including the pewdipie thing still are there and people still meme on him.
I watched this on stream and it really hit hard, you're an amazing person with such a unique and fun personality, and to see how much crap has been thrown at you over the past months for basically no reason really hurts. You're a HUGE inspiration to so many people, and definitely one of the best content creators I've ever seen. If I'm ever feeling down, I genuinely start to feel better by just watching any of your videos or streams, you're incredibly fun to watch, and Doggie just makes it all better. Take a break as long as you need to, we won't be going anywhere, you have all of our love and support. ❤️
Npesta youre a king bro, dont let anyone ever tell you otherwise. Keep pushing through, your content within this community is by far some of the best we have ever had (if not the best) and youre using this platform for such a good cause. You dont know how much i appreciate this kind of thing
I know damn well you won't see this but whatever: THANK YOU NPESTA. You are the reason I started playing Geometry Dash, your videos bring me SOOO much happiness, every video I am dying of laughter. Because of you, I have made so many friends through this game, and GD has kept me entertained through this boring Covid-19 situation. THANK YOU, one day I hope you will hit 1M subs, but for real you deserve like 1B. Edit: By the way your hair is the best, never cut your hair short.
the fact that you said all of this unscripted, covering so many tough topics fluently. Understanding people on the internet and you defending your friends truly gives me enormous respect for you. You being so open about your struggles really shows how bright of a person you are, and I'm so happy people like you and Brandon Larkin are apart of the community. Creators that we can connect to on a personal level
it really sucks how people see the meme as a way to ridicule or make fun of you. i thought the meme was super funny when i first saw it, not because it was an overreaction, but because i love games like hotline miami and dark souls that take fuck tons of tries to beat and i immediately recognized that exact feeling of being so happy you just want to scream when you beat something you weren't able to for so long (and for something as difficult as this, who the fuck wouldn't be happy???). it's so sad seeing people act like having that kind of reaction is something to be ashamed of, there's no feeling in the world better than being able to prove to yourself that you're capable of doing something that took you so long to overcome.
@Logan Roof ...seriously? you think he deserves mockery for completing a goal he has been trying to achieve for 8 months? Even if you don’t particularly find the game interesting, you gotta admire his dedication to his goal. If you seriously think he deserves the mockery because of “some lackluster achievement”, you’re just terrible
I made a meme involving your reaction to beating Kenos. I was quite proud of it, but once I got to know you as a creator and the content that you create I really knew how important that moment was to you and questioned if I should have posted that. After seeing this, you helped put it into perspective for me, so I took it down. I just hope that people can be educated about the accomplishment that you made and not just the meme.
This was worded so well. I'm genuinely happy someone spoke out about this. Toxicity in the internet is a huge problem, and I'm glad someone had the balls to actually speak out about it.
As much as I personally laughed at the clip, I never intended to make fun of you, it was just funny. I can't imagine being hit from all angles of the internet like that, its completely different than anything most of us have experienced.
Reddit is just as bad as it is good. That's my point of view. I use it alot and like interacting with communities with similar interests but then there are just assholes who ruin people's day and stain reddits reputation.
@@nelser1160 yep, most people have never dig deeper enough in reddit, most of these people are probably known it from that incident of kid hates minecraft and play fortnite and think that r/Dankmemes is made up of entire reddit while there are r/Okbuddyretard r/Gamingcirclejerk and etc.
This is actually really sad for my eye. i always saw you as a legendary person who is usually appreciated. but the meme damaged you too much, lets try and get people to stop it... you are human npesta, and i will always appreciate you :)
I do admit, it was after the "meme" that sparked my interest in this channel. Ever since then, I've been binge watching all of your past streams, and oh boy, am I having fun. (Why didn't I do this before?!) Keep doing amazing content man, and I hope you and your editor stays healthy. I'll be watching.
Same. I feel like if it wasn't for the meme, npesta wouldnt have grown as quickly as he did (not to say that he wouldn't have gotten to this point at all, it just would have taken more time). People who grow up on the internet are always more toxic, specifically younger kids. The internet is both a blessing and curse, and I 100% agree that people need to realize they are talking to real humans on the internet. It pains me to see awesome content creators like npesta get mentally worn by people who think making fun of people is "funny".
I don’t play that much Geometry Dash but seeing you beat something so difficult made me want to pursue my own goal in another game that I didn’t even think was feasible at first, and I got it after months! You will always be an inspiration to me!
Sorry for my English :( You are a Legend and just be npesta, regardless the meme, you now are a Legend good or bad for you , but that the price for upload things, and someone understand, okey i dont say kenos everytime i see npesta, but you have to Open you mind and say , ok that is my destiny, just take care, and search help if you have fear or of you are insecure, you are not alone , This World is bad but see only the good things Take care Legend :)
Bruh I thought his reaction was just used as a funny meme when something cool happened or when somebody was super happy so people freaked out about it. thats at least how I saw it being used in videos. I had no idea people were actually making fun of him.
@Logan Roof well hope you get ridiculized because one achivement you worked hard for, and before you say something in the lines of "this isnt a work, is just a square game" or something like that, i will let you know that he was streaming to pay his college, and also the entretainment industry, even if it isnt from a big company, is a real job, so stop calling this dude a looser because you dont think this game isnt important, some people DO care, at least more people than cares about you
If it means anything pal I don't know what meme you were but you are speaking FAT truth here. Glad you are bringing up the dehumanizing nature of the internet man.
Hey Npesta! I just want to say a few things. One keep up the amazing content. Two, just know that for every person that thinks of you as a meme, there will be hundreds of people that think of you how you really are. You are really entertaining guy, you are a incredible player, and most importantly, you are a real person who has feelings. If people can’t see that, then that’s their fault. Keep up the great work.
This goes to show how important the verification of Kenos was. The level didn't just awe the community, but it helped Npesta believe in himself. It's sad that this turned out the way that he never wanted it to turn out and I don't think a lot of people realize what he's talking about is this serious, and that everyone is a real person. It's definitely painful... the Lime situation also made my heart sink - people can really suck and they shouldn't put the blame on someone else.
I rewatched this, now, when I was going through some of my own pains regarding the Internet. I've never commented on any Geometry Dash video to date on any of the accounts I watch UA-cam on, but npesta, you've been an inspiration for me for years. You did a good job on this video, and I hope everything works out. EDIT: I've played Geometry Dash for years. I've been watching npesta & crew for years, I just never had the courage to reach out or comment or anything, really.
Im sorry to hear that you've been going through all of this. I really hope you're able to get through it and just be the great person that you are. Love ur Vids!!
"This video is bad" - Nobody Seriously though, I'm sorry you're having to go through this bullshit. Sure, it's funny, but you don't need to torture some poor highschooler over it. I think you're a great and funny person, I know you're strong enough to get over this. You'll get 1mil soon. Why? You're the best GD UA-camr. You got this npasta ;)
I know this is old, but never forget that you are a treasure to the GD community. You are genuinely appreciated and loved in this community, no doubt. We will always have your back and you are a legendary player whether these internet assholes like it or not. You are very important and your content genuinely makes people happy (myself included!). Thank you for all you do man. Youre an absolute GD king.
We all know what the internet meme cycle is like. The npesta meme reaction will die eventually. But Kenos will probably still be on the demon list for years and years. Eventually, there will be no one left to remember the meme. But the accomplishment - the supreme, verification-attempt-record-holding effort - will still stand.
I found you through the meme, I didn't think there was this much drama, but I hope you can pull through this with everyone else. Love your content, keep up the good work.
5:34 - "hurting people by just existing" god damn that's like the worst part of all this. It feels so terrible to know that everything is out of your control, and that there are just bad people out there. Thank you for continuing to post/strean despite these haunting thoughts, you're a real one 😾🤘
fax bro but with that much of a jump, people would probably focus on the fact that youre growing insanely as a player rather than your reaction. The same could be said about npesta tho, so idk...
I don’t say this to just anyone but you, Npesta, are a genuinely strong person giving strong messages to us all from your experiences. You’re sharing a strong message and giving us an insight into your mindset during all of this. You’ll do great things! Your progress in GD is worth something, so keep doing what you want to do. Lots of love man, hope you do great things
I’ve been through so much shit on the internet, but I’ve learned that sometimes there are clowns on the internet. Yes I may be one to shit talk people later or whatever but I don’t over do something like telling one to kill themselves. I almost let some stupid people on twitter make me feel like I was gonna be attacked for the rest of my life on the internet. Whether i may have been a problem to people in my eyes I’m just trying to be myself. Another thing that pisses me off, not just for me but people in general, is that I'm ALWAYS OPEN TO OPINIONS ABOUT HOW I CAN CHANGE FOR THE BETTER! I strive to become as healthy as possible and try to improve on the things I need to work on, yet I wonder why people can't just tell me what I did wrong in a specific situation. Sometimes I don't know what mistakes I made that triggered an individual or group, and it's really annoying to the point where more fights and stuff branch off just because people won't tell me what I did wrong, but keep on harassing me about it. I recognize that not everyone is like me. That's a given. I learn the most from people who don't see things the same way I do. Sometimes I don't even mean to be disrespectful because I always try to be the best person I can be by being kind and a good friend. Yes, Sometimes I feel like that society is a massive pile of shit, and that there are people, whether they have problems of their own or not, are here just to keep it that way. But I think we can change that society if we just try. Also, I don't get why we as a society in friend groups think it's okay to verbally attack one another for fun and jokes. Even I've grown accustomed to those situations, and I think that's thanks to my in-real-life friends. We sometimes take stabs at each other for stupid jokes or roasts where we make fun of each other because, well, we're friends. I know that most of the time if it were accusations, slander, rumor, threats, etc., there is USUALLY NO malicious or harmful intent. However, I feel the slightest nudge at a person, might be all it takes for one to lose all hope, or mentally shut down to the possibility of friendship and support. People lose their confidence. Just one riled up person can affect the rest of someone else's life. And that's hard to watch or hear about, primarily if the situation was caused by a harmless joke. It's hard to forget as well because I've been in those particular situations too many times. Sometimes I feel like that's SUPPOSED to be life, and that's just a normal thing I have to deal with in the world. I try to follow this philosophy I thought of a while ago: “If someone dumps their own shit or problems on your life, just smile and wave back. They’ll be confused as anything and wonder why they’re greeted with kindness.” That is all, thank you npesta
I mean he probably got 40k money form that, so it is worth it? I mean memes just want to make people popular and make money because they either work hard or they are very funny so some credit the original video to give the original video more views and some memes just send memes and don't credit, that is bad it is? But even if he probably just got 9k or 20k form that video, it's just a lot, so answer me this question, it is worth it?
This is honestly a very poetic way of expressing your emotions, your pains of trying your hardest, with your results just not being what you want, or need. This is a great video.
You did an amazing job breaking down the situation in a way that others who haven't experienced it can understand, which. let's be real, most of us haven't. It always baffled me how most people don't realize or care that what they say on the internet, or even outside of it in some cases can effect others. Just because the medium we use to communicate has changed, the effects of what we say hasn't. I wish all the best for you going forward.
i came to this channel after a year of inactivity in gd. when i saw that bloodlust was no longer number 1 demon and is now 9th, it shocked me. so much had happened when i went inactive. i decided to research and see what the new list demons were, and i came across your kenos verification video. i realised that your reaction was a meme; i had seen it elsewhere but had never known its origin. your dedication to verifying kenos genuinely made me so impressed, you put so much time and effort into it. i started watching you because of how you were "the meme", but i stayed, genuinely enjoying your content. you introduced me to many gd players that i had never known before (and i am glad that i now do) e.g technical & doggie, but you were one of my biggest inspirations to start playing gd again. i enjoy your content so much. your humour is good, your content has a lot of effort put into it and you are persistent. you never give up. imo, you are an amazing role model. your persistence, your dedication, it all is just something that we all need that you have. i've watched you for around 2 months now and decided to catch up to my first ever stream of yours, as most of the times you streamed were around 2 in the morning for me. that stream being the one where you talked about how you felt. to see you in that state just absolutely broke my heart. i completely understand, though. having your most prized achievement be made jokes of and not taken seriously must feel fucking terrible, and i can imagine. what your going through right now is so incredibly sad. at first, i thought the memes were just for laughs. but now, after watching the stream and understanding what youre going through, this mockery just sickens me. you and your helpers put every last drop of effort in them to create content for your channel and the result is always outstanding. i just want to tell you that this break that your taking is without a doubt extremely well deserved. you put your heart and soul into everything you do and i couldnt be more appreciative of that. your mental health is definitely a higher priority than your content to this channel. this comment is not only to show my appreciation to you, but it is also to say that i and countless others will always support you. stay strong and use this break well. :)
@Logan Roof bro you've lost it at this point he's not even telling his sad life story or anything, just sending support, "coping and crying" makes no sense at all
you've been such an inspiration for me, after the complications the fact that you still push forward is insane, i would've left the community if that had happened to me. Thank you for making my day every week, and thank you for making me re-discover this game. and changing argument, yes, the points you made about the internet and the Lime situation are really good, and most people on the internet really do not care, the fact that anonimity is so widespread on the internet really causes people to forget that actions have consequences, now people only care about their own mental status rather than others and thus cause harm to other users out of their own need for a way to relieve themselves. with that said i still want to thank you for making all of this, all of these streams, videos, and inspiration to others, it really does help out.
Npesta is so understanding of people and how people work, and so good at being un bias, even with all the crap around him. He can really help others on any side, simply becuase they're hurting. It doesn't matter if they have different interests or veiws, like he said, everyone is a real person, with a certain tolerance, sensitivity, and years of memories and joy of life that can really taken away by the plague of envy and misfortune. I think you taught a lot of people good things today npesta, wether for me, you, them. You're one of the most genuine people I've seen on the internet, never having any controversal agenda, just a guy with an interest who really understands how to help people, and wants people to feel entertained by his content. Thanks for this message, know that there are so many people who just needed to hear that. You've helped.
I hate how people are here saying " people Who laugh at the meme are stupid and bullies 😡" when the video Is literally about people who don't laugh and the meme and straight up insult npesta for stupid reasons . Memes are supposed to make people laugh. You are not a bad Person if you laugh at the meme even After watching this video. You are a bad Person if you hurt a Person's mental health by laughing at him or obsessing him with this stuff. Pewdiepie became a meme itself lots of times , but i guess people were actually more respectful in his case. There are people in this comment section Who hate on people Who genuinely like npesta's reaction meme but laugh at dark humor jokes about many people dying , at least don't be hypocrites. You're not hurting anyone if you laugh at a joke . I Hope people understand what im trying to say
Yeah, harassing people's mental health on the internet is worse, than laughing at a funny reaction video. But Even though I don't play Geometry Dash anymore, I'm glad he managed to complete the level.
Not a speedrunner, not a fan of that game, entirely unrelated to most topics here... But! You're being the man in this whole mess. You've deserved that happiness for that run even if it doesn't matter anything to someone. And defending your attacker now is just making you a bigger man of them all. I think I know what you're talking about and I know how it hurts, but you're already coming out as a better person out of this, I think. Breathe, you're doing the right conclusions and spreading the right words. I'm sorry for your pain, but that's just righteous and I know it sucks that it's barely respected in this world anymore. I don't know. It's hard for me to connect on a foreign language among the rest of this comments, and I know that you don't even need the connection itself... I just want you to know, that you're right. I hope it helps at least a little.
Hey quick question was Npesta well knowned / well liked at his school by friends and such? Kinda wanted to know because its really good even if you have friends from online that you have others that you know irl to fall back to in tough personal times.
2:19 no, it doesn't sound stupid. The thing that bothers me the most about meme culture is that people choose to make fun of an individual, and then they feel insulted and personally attacked once that individual doesn't "embrace the meme" Like they're owed something from someone who's been made fun of for who they are on the internet. Don't get me wrong, I believe that if you put yourself out there, specially on something so public as the internet, you have to at least expect to receive criticism for what you do. But to be shined with a spotlight in front of millions, and a spotlight of ridicule at that? And then be expected to "go with it"? It's absolutely unfair. Yes, some people are able to embrace it, like hide the pain harold and others, but even he had his rough times at the beginning, and that's something he was able to do because who he was, but guess what, no everyone is like him. Not everyone should be expected to take constant, massive ridicule fine and to go along with it.
@@jerrygears7259 Why are you trying so hard to sound cool cause you’re not, you’re not funny, you didn’t watch the video. Don’t even try to say anything back.
I 100% agree with you npesta, I actually get angry when youtubers use you as a meme, so many youtubers use you as a meme, not for who you really are and what you did to make the meme. I knew who you were before I even heard you were a meme, but now people don't call you a GD youtuber, they call you "the guy who had an overreaction to beating a level in a square game". This is sad to me.
I laugh at some memes, I just hate the insults and the hate he gets for being happy. Funny reaction sure, but are people really gonna hate on him for that? For being happy? That’s what I hate
he gave me more advice on cyber bullying than my teacher's have given me I my whole life. all the teacher's do is explain what it is but he went deep into what people do and the effects of their actions. This video is really inspiring keep up the great content ;)
For non-GD players: A different reason why people mock npesta for his reaction is because Geometry Dash is a truly underappreciated game. Those who only played it for a few days or weeks and rage quit (or those who have just played the Lite version or one of its extensions) will never fully appreciate the game, as it has much more to offer than most people think. Geometry Dash has a level editor, where the possibilities are endless. With enough experience you can make anything you want, any gameplay, any design or decoration so it looks super cool, and you can even program minigames! Yes, you read it right. GD is slowly evolving into a game engine. Some levels, like Kenos, even require godlike skill to complete. And you can share your levels with the entire world! No wonder why GD has got a community at all. Also, beating a level like Kenos takes so much effort, which people also ignore. Imagine spending 8 MONTHS to beat a single 2 minute map. If that isn't enough, you have to practice for YEARS to reach the required skill level. Beating harder and harder stuff will satisfy you every time, because GD teaches determination and perseverance really well. You can develop multiple types of skill, from sightreading to consistency to perfect muscle memory. Even building something like Kenos takes much, MUCH longer than you'd expect. You'd have to precisely put and arrange 1000-1000000 distinct objects (most of them are only for the decoration) for them to form something visually appealing and fun to play. Hope some people will learn something from this. When people say "Why is npesta crying of joy? It's just a square game!", I'm literally losing braincells. GD is way more complex than you think. If it's not your genre of video games, that's ok. Just be cool and don't call Geometry Dash just a square game :)
I also have an assumption that, most people that would say minecraft is bad, is the people that once they enter the game, immediately go to the creative mode, messing around like building a house, then get bored and quit, like that's the only thing about minecraft
I really appreciate Npesta for taking the effort to beat kenos, it sucks that people don't get it for what it is and instead get it as "haha funny man scream".
Hey, Im gonna be honest, I came for the meme, stayed for the Thursday wins. Jokes aside, sorry that people forgot you are an actual person. That sucks. Keep up the good work
I loved the meme and thought “wow this guy is really good” and started watching some more of your GD videos and just realized that you were one of the funniest and best players on this platform. Keep up the content!
I understand how you feel! If i was a meme that would get annoying to be constantly know for that. Hope this doesn't take an effect on your playing and future reactions to come.
At first when I've came across this "meme" I thought it was a funny meme, but I didn't know people genuinely started to make fun of you. I have deleted a video regarding me using the meme myself. I apologize if I am a part of something inconvenient that has lowered your self esteem.
I really like npesta and his content, but just because of this, doesn’t mean I can’t laugh at a joke, a joke and cyber bullying is different, obviously unless that joke is to bully, but most kids don’t even know this, and know it’s just a joke, of course the people who started this were possibly bullying him, but sometimes people do something else, and you take it as bullying, I feel bad for him, but the people meme’ing this are just normal people, with normal lives, trynna make something funny
For everyone scrolling through the replies: most of the hate comments are bots, so just leave them be, and the bots are actually helping him stay in the algorithm for more people to see.
Guys, stop replying on comments like "we don´t care, just play, loser" they´re doing it because 1. They´re trolls. Or 2. They´re actually braindead assholes. Don´t reply to them, you won´t do anything. The most you can do to them is just to raise the middle finger to them and leave, don´t start any drama.
report them! most of them, if you click on their channels, are the type of people to spam garbage about famous youtubers deaths or their families, just report those videos and block them
Don't judge people for what they do and what they are, they still are people, they make mistakes and you do too. If you ever have a negative mind about them, don't be surprised when they stop If you think you're the best, then that mindset of yours needs to be fixed We are humans, I know that phrase is repeated alot, but it's really important to take that to heart, it's not just a phrase, it's a phrase that can change the whole world in a nice way And if you are one of those people who "cancel" or "attack" people Look in the mirror, and ask yourself "is this what I've become? Is this what my parents raised me for?" You should realize that people on the internet have feelings too. Right now, the world is currently not doing good, so change for the better and start being the person that can change the world. Thank you, for reading this comment.

But if you look on the bright side, with the help of doggie you’ve been able to grow you channel and get thousands of subscribers who genuinely care about you and what you upload, over 100,000 people subscribed because of your content and not because of the memes.

it really sucks how people see the meme as a way to ridicule or make fun of you. i thought the meme was super funny when i first saw it, not because it was an overreaction, but because i love games like hotline miami and dark souls that take fuck tons of tries to beat and i immediately recognized that exact feeling of being so happy you just want to scream when you beat something you weren't able to for so long (and for something as difficult as this, who the fuck wouldn't be happy???). it's so sad seeing people act like having that kind of reaction is something to be ashamed of, there's no feeling in the world better than being able to prove to yourself that you're capable of doing something that took you so long to overcome.

I try to follow this philosophy I thought of a while ago:
“If someone dumps their own shit or problems on your life, just smile and wave back. They’ll be confused as anything and wonder why they’re greeted with kindness.”
That is all, thank you npesta

I think you taught a lot of people good things today npesta, wether for me, you, them. You're one of the most genuine people I've seen on the internet, never having any controversal agenda, just a guy with an interest who really understands how to help people, and wants people to feel entertained by his content. @Logan Roof You're going to Brazil.

For non-GD players:
A different reason why people mock npesta for his reaction is because Geometry Dash is a truly underappreciated game.
