Why did the volume go mute starting from around 14:04 ? Looks intentional. I don't trust the Vice President then...Arap Moi. He might have seen Mboya as a thret to his personal ambition to be the next President of Kenya after Kenyatta.🙄
Kenya is blessed with some very smart people. The way this professor speaks, the elegance....it reminded me of another intellectual monster Ali Mazrui.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very knowledgeable Prof. Macharia Munene, I have followed your analysis of Tom’s political career _ biased to portray that Tom was an overrated charisma, and struggling to fit politically at the time he was killed, everybody knows Tom was at his prime 1966 - 1969 and that’s the reason for being targeted. Why would a politician be killed at a time of his down trend? 55 years after being killed, there is no political and development match to what he achieved…including promoting a knowledge - based economy. Throw a stone any direction from where you are, if it will not land on a development, infrastructure, scholar, career expert touched by Tom. Rubia could not be any match to Tom….this is demonstrated in the many elections Tom won in Nairobi against the camps… you mention would be a threat.
he too was puppet..he knew he dint deserve the seat 🪑 n Mboya was coming in Hot he just cudnt take it... jealousy....alifia choooniii na miguu zimefura ...kama umbwa....big hig man did not end so big 😂😂😂😂😂unaozanga ukiona do not joke with blood‼️‼️‼️‼️
@@omemaskema9012it's like you didn't listen to the documentary at all! It's clearly stated that, kenyatta was the only one to become president, he deserved it and everybody acknowledged it including jaramogi who was offered the presidency and turned it down.
Hiyo bunduki ni Gethi GSU commander alipea Njenga!
Even as Mboya was shot Gethi was there with Njenga!
Maybe mboya could lead Kenya to the standard of Singapore

Mazrui was an intellectual powerhouse.

Sad on how we lost mboya 😢 rip
Well done Enock. I'm watching from the Gambia. I'm a keen viewer of your documentaries.
This Prof is very analytical!
Njenga was never hanged, as you've mentioned in your video's description. He was spotted in a Lusaka bar after his alleged hanging.
If this is true, it just shows how corrupt and brutal African so called rulers and politicians were. Very unfortunate.🙄
Watching feom Uganda
I love to learn about history from across the world
Great insights from Prof Munene. Great work Sikolia.
the big man anology could be the chief in command at that time
Amazing knowledge of history...
bravo Enock
In touch
Good life story
ask yourself. why would a government cover up a civilian's crime?
**njenga was Never murdered... he was secretly swiftly let loose in lusaka ..**
There was information that Tom mboya was contemplating overturning Kenyatta government
Charles Ndjondjo est ce big man d'après les kényans eux-mêmes.
Why is around 14:07 mute???
I'm also concerned
The big man was Mr Jomo Kenyatta himself
It's not him. He was a tool.
@@jmandelax then who was the big man?

Some claim it was Charles Njonjo

Mboya was a threat to Jaramogi and Moi than to Kenyatta my opinion
I think so too.
Let's not bring a lot of stories including the British or Americans. The leading question is: "Who is the big man? "
The British and Americans played a role, trivial it could be but there is need to touch on them.
The 'big man' IMHO based on the insights from the Prof was the Kiambu Mafia cabal.
Tj was taken out by JO
Raila to Visit Tomboya and Robat Ouko Sooner or later 😂😂😂😂😢😅😅😂😂
