Have you ever thought of doing a cook along with? Don't known how it would work out logistically, I don't recall seeing it done on YT but if it's like, a live stream maybe? 🤔 just a thought to quench your creative hunger, meanwhile thanks for alleviating my actual hunger with another great recipe.

Im from Wisconsin. There was a Jamaican place closed down. My life hasn't been da same.

If that's 'noise', it's joyful noise.
This will be the way I will be cooking jerk chicken from now on all because of the gravy aspect of it.

After the marinade time in the refrigerator, it took about an hour to cook. It came out very good. I will make this again soon.

It looks amazing, and I’m sure it tastes and smells good too. That looks like my fav jerk seasoning you used,(Walkerswood) it’s the best😍
I just bought Walkerswood yesterday specifically for this recipe. The original and then the hot and spicy! It is AMAZING!!! I noticed when I opened it it looked like the one he was using as well. I marinated my chicken overnight and we are about to make this recipe. Wish me luck!!!

Pimento wood? Sounds like a good smoking flavor for a barbecue. Here the sous chef in the background giving his cooking advice. Little sweetheart.

Great, thanks Chris, I love your fantastic recipies! This will be a fantastic dinner in the south of Sweden.
That jerk stew chicken looks absolutely delicious!l am definitely making this.Thank you for the recipe.
Amazing flavor amazing video alson❤
Looking delicious 😋
Love this combination of flavours ! Will make this weekend. For high heat, I tend to use grapeseed or sunflower oil. Neutral flavour and does not change its health properties at high heat like olive oil, but each to their own!
coconut oil & avocado oil, same
@@mtlienz2279 I now use avocado oil as well!
I made your recipe Jamaican stewed chicken your last four ingredients for the gravy it was so tasty And spicy yum thanks

Great job with the chicken stew jerk
The kid in the background is saying _"This is taking forever I want to eat it now!"_
Latinos make a red stew,..I think that’s why they differentiate brown stew as opposed to red…I can’t wait to try this recipe…looks delish

Babies in the background is what a real house sounds like.

No no I wanted to see you assistant brother please. Great recipe though. Love your presentations. Take care and God Bless 🧡
I’ll be doing this
Looks yummmm Chris
That look real good. Irie man.
Hi, Can you put the recipe/video here on how you make your curry powder, carribean green seasoning, jerk seasoning wet/dry and the brown sauce you keep in a bottle you either made or got from Trinidad and Tobago If you can show the container or which business store you got it from?
The noises were cute!
looks real good bro
wow, want to do that dish, but my mum can take the spiciness. But she still want to taste. 🎉
I'm going to try this with beer, water/coconut milk mix
I was thinking of using coconut milk but I was concerned it wouldn’t mix well in this recipe.🤔
Did you try it?
Watch nicenesssss😍😍
Thanks for another great recipe, Chris. What brand of jerk marinade did you use?
Thanks!
Niceness!!!
Much love Chris, what jerk paste do you use in this recipe?? My favourite is Dunns River
Thanks for this Chris. May I as what brand pots you use..Need to purchase some new ones
Can I use browning seasoning instead of the brown sugar method? I ALWAYS burn the brown sugar and can't seem to master that technique.
Don`t worry about the little one`s noise...kids mean life! :) Chris..I would add a stout beer (you added a lite beer) to this recipe to add more richness of flavour. Any culinary reason I shouldn`t?
Hi Chris,
What do they use in the Mediterranean for deep frying? No olive oil, but …. corn oil (in Palestine 🇵🇸)
Great point about olive oil, I used to get terrible indegestian when cooking with vegtable or sun flour oil. I Cook mainly with olive oil, beef dripping and butter now. All I can say is apart from liking the flvour of those oils/fats, since cutting out seed oils I suffer a lot less from indegestion. (Just a personal thing). Cheers for the video.
It looks delicious
Which jerk marinade do you use?
Looks like a great dish.
Looks like Walker's wood.....it is high in sodium and spicy....so skip sea salt and pepper when marinating....🙏🤟 awesome job Chris..
Thanks mon
Do you cover your chicken while it marinates in the fridge or you let it dry out?
I can't find the recipe on the website. Could someone post a direct link?
Instead of beer how would a red wine effective the flavor profile?
:O WANT!!!!
good
👏👏👏
What store brought jerk marinades do you recommend?
You have a lil sous chef
Hadir sehat selalu kwan
Great news
Let’s take a min and talk about burning
Sean Paul - We Be Burning starts playing
👍🏼😋😊
Hi Chris, I wanted to know what brand of Jerk rub did you use?
I find that Walkers Wood and Grace brands are great and come in mild and hot versions
@@donnabrice3770 I actually have that in my fridge, mild and hot. Thanks
My lips are dripping
Oh no! I haven't had any meal in 3days. This is pure torture. I can hear the assistant chef in the background
Can you use red strip beer in this # mi belly hungry now man😂😂
Ive been telling my kids not to use olive oil to deep fry because it smokes up the kitchen and leaves soot on the ceiling.
Why bother make your own jerk marinade?!?! 🤯😱😤 because the store bought does not compare at all!!! Cmon, you taught me that years ago lol
He has a recipe for homemade on his website, as he mentioned.
Accent???? Jamaican?
That chicken has a beautiful color but I can tell the sauce is going to be bitter from the brown sugar because he didn't add any ketchup or barbecue sauce to it. Burnt sugar tend to have a better taste especially if it's on the darker side
let her be in video, she sounds like cutie....who is this star in the making 😘
The baby in the background is his son, Zaire.
