its 2022 and were still having to physically smack technology around in order to get it start working. love it.
sad yet true..... the logic explaining this is that the parts responsible for the camera go loose and have to be bought in place by smacking it against the palm.... glad it helps you

I watched like 10 videos and followed the instructions camera was still failing then I went ahead and gave it a nice little massage, fingers started cramping so I decided to follow his advise and spank the phone! A few smacks (open palm) I had no faith in it working! But I doubted you sir, and that was a big mistake! My cameras working again!!! Thank you so much for this video! OMG! This is an old video and I am watching this in July 2023. I was desperate because I kept receiving camera failure message on my less than a year old Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra. I even called Samsung to troubleshoot and nothing worked! I didn't want to factory reset because why do that when nothing else worked! My last resort was to go into one of the repair shops Samsung recommended since the phone is still under manufacturer warranty. I ran across this video and guess what? After tapping it and smacking it like you said , I turned the phone back on and the camera freaking works! Unbelievable!! 😂. Thank goodness for you tube and your video! Be blessed !

Holy crap. The massaging/smacking worked!!! I was skeptical, but had tried all the other tips short of a factory reset (restarting, clearing cache, clearing data, restarting in safe mode, resetting permissions of other apps, etc. etc. etc.) I figured, can't hurt to try massaging and smacking. Aye, I just wanted to say I just did the smacking on my Galaxy Flip 3 and THE SHIT WORKED! Been trying all day to get this camera thing solved as I use it for work. I REALLY didn't want to factory reset so I said screw it...let's old school this thang. And it WORKED! Thank you!!!!

It's worked thanks. Just had my Note 20 Ultra's screen repaired and this camera failed issue happened I've tried everything I almost gave up and took it back to the repair shop but decided to check some more UA-cam videos again and seeing yours again and a few others that also suggested doing this I gave it one more good try and to my shock and astonishment it solved the problem so thanks again and keep up with the great video content it was very helpful in my case.

when I first encountered "camera failed" prompt, rear camera won't work but the front cam works fine. I had my rear cam replaced and still won't work on stock/samsung camera app. I tried using rear camera on third-party apps and it works fine! :/

the other thing that you might want to try is mashing the capture button as soon as the camera application opens, do this many times. it started working for me

< It didn't help me what I did is here >>> This is kinda weird but it works - Just remove the case from you S22 and Shut it down (DONOT restart Power OFF the phone). Now wait for a couple of minutes and power ON the phone. Validate the Camera and it should be good. (Reply here to share the outcome)
Once Validation is good then put the case back ON and try to get Samsung OEM Case Only
