Thank you for posting. I recently replaced my battery and screen to find the camera not working anymore. Your video motivated me to take my 20 ultra apart again and look it over carefully. I think the problem was the rear facing lid was not on securely. There's four very small contacts on the lid near the flash led on the phone. Once I made sure the lid was on properly my camera worked again. BIG RELIEF HERE!
@@aljonzumarraga3994 hi buddy. Carefully inspect the entire rear lid for damage. On the phone hardware, those four electrical contacts near the flash light appear to have to make good contact to the rear lid. Patience and perseverance are your friends. Good luck!
Thank you so much you was a big help. My front camera was not working for the pass 3 weeks and I've done everything. But I watched your video just now and followed wat you said and my front camera is working. I force stop the camera and then turn the phone off and turn it back on.

This happened to my S20 Ultra5g after replacing the back glass, I tryed everything to fix but nothing worked but somehow the camera works fine with the HD Camera App from Playstore but when I try the phone camera original it still says Warning Camera Failed, it must be the safety feature for the 8k camera the overheating shutoff has glitched or something. Thanks for the video help I'll try this and see if I can get my original camera back to working fine.
SAME 😢 I broke my front glass... took my phone to YouBreakWeFix and they replaced the front glass, rear glass, frame, and battery. Then my camera didn't work. Would say "failed". Then I have to go to settings and reset the camera settings just to use the rear camera. The store manager lied and said my phone was already like that 😡 so then replaced the camera. Nothing happened so he sent me away.
You need a Boardview Software like ZXW, this Software will show you the Diode Values on each Pad on those Connectors. Or you can Compare the Values with a Known Good Board.
So I have tried changing the camera it will work after awhile then stop again, an engineer said it's not from the motherboard that it's the camera that has issues
Sir, actually my s21 5g got drowned in a swimming pool when the rear camera was on... Now its showing camera failed error ... can i fix it by doing the same?
I used a pipe wrench to squeze the chip to the motherboard and it worked. Did not remove shielding. Did this around 3 weeks ago and still going. Yes, I repaired a chip with a pipe wrench.
its ~2month now and still going. One blade of wrench was on LED light, the other on shielding on the other side of the mainboard, then squeezed gently...

It's gotta be this new update android pushed on us. My camera works and then it says "warning, camera failed" and after like 50 tries it lets me use the camera again. It's some kind of stupid software bug that they won't fix.

I had my screen fixed and I found out 2 weeks later this. there's obviously something sketchy with my situation because the back cameras work fine
