On your Eagle HD webpage it says that the range is up to 30 miles but in this video you say that the range is from 12 to 18 miles on average. Which is it or can you explain the discrepancy? Thank you. We’re about ready to order one of these.
Hello Videoscrapheap, Thank you for your comment and great observation! The way we were able to get a 30 mile (just a fraction over) range was accomplished indoors, at an office building, over a period of time. The temperature remained at 72 degrees and the chair was driven up and down long hallways that were completely flat. There was commercial carpet in the hallways and no thresholds to go over. We understand that most of our customers don't drive their chairs in that way. Many go outside, over thresholds, over thick carpet, and various temperatures both much colder and warmer. Inclines and declines effect batteries along with many other factors that can cause the chair to work harder. From our experience, you would most reasonably expect 12-18 miles per charge most of the time, unless the chair will be primarily used for strictly flat, resistance, temperature controlled indoor use.
Hello Sharon, there is just one difference between the two chairs. THe Electra7 has 21" of space between the armrests, opposed to the 18 1/2" the Eagle has. Otherwise, they are identical.
