Ours quit running, Sowiing a code of eb. What do we do????
How are you supposed to close the window?
Can this fit in the roll-down front window of a 1500 Chevy Express van?
Can the outside unit get rained on?
Yes
Does anyone know the maximum width of the windowsill (from inside to outside) that the bracket can fit around? I asked this question in other places and the answer I received is the maximum windowsill length (from left to right) which is not what need.
Reach out to their customer service. Unless the RV/Caravan mounting bracket can be used in another configuration, I have no idea how this would work on a typical North a,Erica’s home with 2”x 6” construction therefor an approximate 8” finished wall provided mouldings aren’t too thick. I’m waiting on a response as well.
@@TheLumberJacked I purchased it and returned it last week because it wouldn't work for my application. If the big screw hardware that clamps it down is removed it is about 3 inches wide. I'm not sure the width with the screw clamp on it, maybe 2.5 or 2.25 inches.
@@billy_in_4c such an odd design considering it’s technically very flexible…but they provide a bracket that works in the narrowest of circumstances. Quite unfortunate.
Does anyone know the wattage used on the low setting? Or eco mode setting? It says 650 watts on the sticker and that will drain my battery too fast. I'm hoping for 300 watts on low.
Idk if it matters at this point, but someone on the Amazon review page says it should pull 400-450 on average. Not sure myself, I don't own one atm.
Unless it’s an inverter type, I don’t know how it would have variable wattage outside of adjusting fan speed. I also can’t imagine a 300w unit providing any real cooking at all. The reason this one even has a chance is because the condenser is placed outside. The ecoflow portable unit is probably what you want. It’s spendy but gets you wireless AC. You can recharge it during the day and have it cooling your RV at night.
