Have a listen to Al Stewart, 'Year of the Cat'. Arguably the perfect song and arrangement. Same sax player and piano player. Nice sax solo on it. m.ua-cam.com/video/2i46s52JAUE/v-deo.html&pp=ygUaYWwgc3Rld2FydCB5ZWFyIG9mIHRoZSBjYXQ%3D
Great !!! Billy Peek grinds and bends strings like I have never seen ! Took Chuck Berrys style and ran with it to create this great sound ! Plays like this and does a major duck walk too . How ?!?!
how cool is the bass player playing that bass guitar, and Billy Peek straight tearing it up, this whole version of this band was awesome and straight up in your face rock n roll
Yeah Billy! That's the real feel brother...but I don't need to tell you that! I've played with Chuck myself, he's my #1..(he was the first live rock show i ever saw @ Madison Sq Garden at age 13!). I used to play in the New York Dolls but now have my own solo band and do a thing called Blues Deluxe where we do all the early solo Rod/Faces/Jeff Beck Group era stuff...the creme de la creme of Stewart songs. Carmine is a pal of mine, played with him a few times...but who else is in this version of the band?
Great band and some brilliant guitar work by Billy Peek, Chuck Berry would approve. Rod Stewart on the other hand, ugh, just awful. As much stage presence as a tin of condemned corned beef !
I saw the band during this tour. Still among the best shows I’ve ever seen…
Now people this is how that Frickin song supposed to be played ! Best damn version of that song I've ever heard !
the sax on this song is like, so damn good, i could listen to it all day long!

Also I thought it was kinda cool seeing him sing 🎤 along with Rod towards the end of the song. U rarely see that.
And bo diddlie

it sure beats the crap he sells us the last decade or so.
Phil Chen was the coolest! This was probably the best RS Group lineup.
Odd angle?
Damn, they look like they are having a blast! I always saw it as a song to show off the musicians rather than the lyrics.
Peek at his peak😊
This that and the other thing with all the speed shredders etc....theres just something about plain old rock and roll guitars.
Nothing beats it
love this song

Si sente "vagamente";-) l'influenza dell'UNICO GRANDE MAESTRO DEL ROCK AND ROLL, CHUCK BERRY.
Where is Bellevue ?
It was a big theme park in Manchester Fun Fair Concert venue Speedway stadium Zoo Wrestling Exhibitions etc the last of it was demolished in 1987
