Your boy reminds me of my boy, he loves to get the wrench I use and use it on something too. I really like the bike! I might see me upgrading my 250l to one!

Yeah he's obsessed with being in the shop, the 250l is a nice bike for gravel roads and comfort but if your wanting to go Offroad its not ideal. I would suggest the fe350 or wait and see how the 450l will be.

Thanks for doing this vid! When you put the oil filter back in, it is suggested to lay the bike on its side and fill the oil filter housing 1/3 with fresh oil. Then you put back the new filter and screw back the cover (after oiling the o-ring). Great little helper you have BTW! :)

BehindBars With Noodles The 350 is amazing other than the seat way too stiff.

Thanks mate, just bought a 350. Is that brass washer a crush type on the main oil plug drain, so has to be replaced, or can it be re used?

    • @CoyoteChris

Neil Gavin Yes it is a crush washer but I usually don’t replace till it looks bad enough to replace.

In the manual it actually says you should tip the bike on the side and fill up 1/3 of oil in the filter house before installing the filter. You don't do that. Why the reason for filling up the filter house you'd say, and why do you skip that part? I suppose it works fine anyway, but guess there's must be a reason for this instruction in the manual.

Only reason for that is to prevent a moment where oil might not get to the engine components when you first start the bike. I did add a little to the O rings just not into the filter housing. Hope that helps 👍🏼

I am wondering: I want to buy an fe 350 and use it 90% in the city and then maybe go through the woods on the weekend. Do you think I still need to pay attention to the 10-15 hrs oil change interval or this only meant for heavy enduro action? for cruising it seems a bit crazy to me. thanks :)

To be honest I haven't been going by the suggested interval, so I would say from my experience it would be fine.

    • @CoyoteChris

I haven't been changing the oil as Husqvarna says to but I changed it the first time at 500 miles and 1200 the second. It cost $35
