      At that time mark you def need clutch dampers so doing both things at this point would be advisable

    My main question is:
    What research has been done after the fact of install?
    Any access vibration to other components being that the gears are metal ?
    Etc.
    Take it easy on me , I’m not trying to ask a silly question.
    I’m just wondering if there is long term review for this “upgrade” of gears
    Cheers 🥂

      That’s a great question and in the design phase we applied an increasing gyroscopic force to the outer edge using the formula 3x + yi = 5x + 1 + 2i to determine the acceleration rate of the rotating unit then accounted for the riders weight and age using ∣x+ 1−x 2∣= 2 (2x2 −1) to solve for x, then finally divided that by the number of bolts in his pockets to come to a final determinate of no.

    At the end of the video, you said to refill coolant, check the oil, start the bike…
    I assume you drained engine oil before you drained the coolant, and it just wasn’t included in the video.
    It is required to drain the oil first, correct? ( I’m not kidding, I don’t know for sure)

    • @TACOMOTOCO
      @TACOMOTOCO  Рік тому

      With the bike tipped on the side like this no need to drain the oil
      But always a good idea to check fluids before starting

  • @adamwaldroup
    @adamwaldroup Рік тому

    purchased a 22 fx350 husqvarna and the oil pump failed and blew engine at 32 hrs. aftermarket warranty paid 7k in parts and labor to rebuild engine. after waiting 10 months for parts to be delivered due to back orders, got the bike back last month and in 7 hours it stopped oiling again and blew the new engine. The new engine had the aluminum oil pump gear installed. Definitely a bad first ktm/husky experience.

    • @matc1603
      @matc1603 4 місяці тому

      The ones that failed were in 2018 when there was a manufacturing deficiency with the batch of OEM gears.
      It was rectified in 2018.
      There are many benefits from plastic gears, that's why everyone uses them.
