I have been mostly sad but after taking shrooms few months ago, l feel much happier and highly motivated and my ADHD gone , lost a ton of anxiousness and had a few epiphanies about how I should live my life. Out of all the videos that says it will make your room melt this is the best.
Never taken LSD before but I have taken shrooms and also 2CB, they're pretty similar to this effect, the visuals are more extreme with psychedelics but this can definitely give you a pretty good idea of what it's like visually, the colours and the waving/breathing vision. But visuals are not the only thing you get, you kind of get the same effect on auditory stuff. I heard some water flowing in a pond outside and it sounded like voices whispering, I would have been convinced if I didn't know about the pond. Things sound different.
The thing about it is that you also get really gullible on it, it can be hard to think rationally. Kind of like a little kid that will believe anything you tell it.
You can also get really paranoid and start getting thoughts that will get you into a bad trip because of those feelings/thoughts, that's what happened to me halfway through the trip and it was one the worst experiences of my life at that point, before I went bad it was absolutely fantastic. Problem was that I did it in the worst possible set and settings. Make sure you do it at a comfortable and calm place, and be in a good state of mind (the most important!)
That's also where the dangers of psychedelics lie, together with triggering psychosis if you are susceptible to that. Although if that does happen you would likely have gotten it later in life anyway without using psychedelics. So is it really because of the drug then?

Wow, it’s is actually somewhat like acid, in the regard of visuals. The only problem is that stuff only moves if you look at it, and for a very short amount of time. With LSD, everything is constantly moving, and changing colours.

As someone with experience, this is actually pretty similar. All though, this is one effect out of many others that are present with acid. It's generally impossible to perfectly replicate the full effects of acid unless you take it but, man. That was a VERY nice representation.

Yeah I agree, it definitely simulates the 'breathing' depth-perception of LSD but my experience with acid is that the visuals of the eye really aren't that special without the psychological effects/confusion/euphoria of it. Yeah colors appear more saturated and distant objects kinda twinkle + stretch themselves. Close-up objects have 'ghosts' when moved or you see visible trails of your hands moving. Disclaimer: I haven't tripped total sack on acid, ive only done beginner/moderate doses of gel tabs.
Definitely look at trees on acid though, tree trunks/bark become waterfalls. Lay in the grass. I geeked out watching a single ant going from grass blade to grass blade for like 30 minutes, that ant became the only thing that mattered at the time.
That's the best part of 'visuals' - phone/TV screens can be trippy as hell too. Basically, 'distant' objects pulse like this but again, the mental state of being on acid changes the perception of the visuals entirely. I was in my own backyard and the visuals were mild but it felt extremely alien to me, like i'd never been there before and the backyard looked 10x bigger than ever
i think the illusion got what the breathing walls feel like on acid very accurately
yes that obviously doesn't just get you high on LSD. I can definitely agree that this is very similar to the visual affect that I normally have.

I thought I was looking at a precursor to Hypno Toad from the cartoon FUTURAMA.
After a while the circle in the middle of that was the origins of the square basically disappeared and turned into the squares. But with the slightest eye-movement, the circle reappears sharply defined.
I also saw the shapes of the squares becoming, for a lack of better term, squiggly. I also saw the color red emanate from the squiggly lines.
Rather interesting thing occurs regarding the visual cortex of the brain when it can't keep up with the images coming into the brain for processing.

From someone who has actually taken LSD... It's sorta similar, but it's just things being wobbly. A good way to describe actually being on LSD is seeing details in things where there isn't anything (at least for me)
