I'm glad Concernedape didn't make only one black character bc it will be a "guess who" awkward moment bc the first guess who game only had one black character. It will be a easy win lol
That could be done in the normal game if you ask "Is your character (name)"? Also, this could be done with the dward and Krobus, or Sandy for being the only one in the desert.
Guess who is easy. There are a few set questions you start off with that quickly takes off most of the characters. First two questions for this is Can you marry them. Are they male. Then follow up with are they black. The first two questions eliminate roughly 75% of the cast and the third questions eliminates the possibility of the character being the only two black people in the game or the dwarf or krobus. If they own a shop its krobus, if they do not its either maru or demitrius depending on question 2.
@@Spookyprunope! dwarf never had pronouns or gender indicated. theyre not even human, so who knows if they even have the body parts to describe their sex
I’m still a little disappointed with the lack of diversity in Stardew valley. Why are there no black bachelors? Not to mention the variety of other races and mixes of races. Maybe in a future update..
It'll probably have to be a haunted chocolatier thing unless he decides to race swap some characters or add a decent handful of new NPCs which would need new housing I can't see SDV getting a change like that
are you pretending Concerned Ape has to add a whole new npc in his own personal game now of all times, years after the game has already settled with the currently available villagers, all for the sake of diversity alone? the fact being that in a realistic scenario a village like that would hardly have any significant diversity to begin with makes the villagers we have already unrealistically diverse, the game doesn't have to represent fifty ethnicities, just use one of those ethnicity portrait mods to erase their base character concept or idk, play another game?
@@octoroiddWhy are y'all losers so defensive and rude when race is brought up in any capacity. OP wasn't rude; it was a passing statement. Does it not make sense that people would want more characters that align with them ethically? at it's core, Stardew is a farming/dating game, of course people would want a more diverse cast for them to befriend and marry. Do you assholes not realise most of these people asking this aren't performative wokeys forcing diversity, but are simply people of colour that just want to see themselves represented. You suggesting people play other games to find the diversity they want proves to me you're privileged enough not to worry about being represented. People have to find and pay for an entirely new game because one developer can't add at least one more ethnic character? Not to mention, there's hardly any games with an ethnically diverse cast of characters. Since you're so pressed, why not you find OP a game that perfectly emulates Stardew with a diverse cast. Or are you only here to whine and complain. Also, you saying it's unrealistic for the town to have diversity? It's a fucking game, not real life?? It's so obvious you're grasping at straws to justify the lack of diversity, it's embarrassing. But, even if we looked at it realistically, it would make sense if Pelican Town was diverse, since it's based on America; a multi-cultural country with no core race. This applies to most other Western countries as well, which Pelican town is based off as well. So you saying this is just outdated and weird
@@octoroidd I’m not saying he has to do anything. Just that I’m disappointed. The fact that you’re talking about realism in a town like Pelican Town is a little jarring, plenty of small towns are diverse anyways. bro discovered how diversity works
That could be done in the normal game if you ask "Is your character (name)"? Also, this could be done with the dward and Krobus, or Sandy for being the only one in the desert.
who goes for the trait that only one character has at the start of the game? that’s just bad strategy
It's his game, but people won't shut up
That makes no sense, that’s basically just guessing someone’s name if the trait only belongs to one person
Bro said does he work in a store and didnt elimate shane who does work in a store
I think they meant being a vendor, like Pierre, Gus, or Harvey
How is Harvey more of a vendor than Marnie????
@smaakaker i didn't say that? I just forgot about marnie. My bad.
