P.S. libertarianism even conservatism isn’t anarchy. Edit: P.P.S but yeah in real life the economy should be regulated better, funds should be spent more wisely, and rights should be better protected.
Hmmm, no. Libertarianism doesn't work like Communism because it is based on the goodwill of humans. There is no need for the wealthy to respect the poors' rights when the poor cannot use the government to protect themselves. Look at the so-called Glided Age in the U.S., the rich used private security forces and the local governments to oppress the poor. It was only with the rise of unions and in part the poor realizing they can use their political rights to elect politicans who would protect them. Hence, minimum wage, 40 hours, and much more.

Me: comes to this place
My mega phobia: so you have chosen...death
Thank you gray for uploading citystate, it’s my favourite gameplay!!
I think riots will happen in a utopian society because people just get bored. We want problems to solve and we want stuff to be mad about.
I believe it's called to Roman syndrome. When everything around is great people forget why.
We humans aren't very bright, I guess.
@@theguylivinginyourwalls I think it just proves that deep down we aren't very different from the rest of the animals. Some domesticated chicken species have gotten so used to being cared for that they simply lose the instinct to reproduce and require human intervention. Species literally forget how to have sex. Incredible isn't it? Same with humans, we forget how we as a country or society became economically secure and we start caring for crap we shouldn't eventually destroying our whole government. History shows the examples of every great empire and its downfall.
@@bored.in.california2111 Well said, friend.
It's even worse that it's coming from that screen name. It's like a point made inside of a point. Pointception!
This comment is so dumb haha, even more so because of all the ignorant people agreeing with him. Like, "Yeah, people just get mad for no reason"
It's like when Bush invaded Iraq and said: "They hate us because we have freedom" *Bruh hahahaha*
If you think about it, anarchy has some sense to it. You build your riches because you don't have any taxes to pay, and only fittest survive. Worried about being raided? Hire the best mercenary company.
Use your army raid others. Force people to work on your land. Congratulations, you just created feudalism.
Thats not anarchy, thats chaos.

Good job, the FAA would be proud!
4:15 “Our entire economy is built off tourism” I wonder how Washington + More Coffee is doing after Covid
I almost pissed my pants when the russian national anthem tuned in XD
Why?
Its molotovs. They are throwing molotov cocktails.
People in the comments are taking the game too seriously. I, for one find the anarcho-capitalist oligarchy getting ripped to shreds hilarious.

This is the funniest youtuber & content i have ever seen, both of them in the same place makes this my new favourite channel
"I created a city where the rich exploit the poor"
-every guy who's ever made a city before
Washington is back with a lot of coffee than usual
11:53 every politician in a nutshell 😂😂😂
People are happy. City is prosperous beyond your wildest dreams. Buildings and architecture that defy reason. Literally sending people into space just for giggles. The very picture of success.......
And then you built a university, and everything went downhill. Hmmmmm, makes ya think.
It's a game, not a political philosophy
Damn...I kept watching cos your commentary was just too captivating.
You're totally fun to listen to
I'm just saying gray, but Tokyo is the most populated city with over 30 million occupants
Tokyo city is different than the whole greater tokyo ... which has 30 m
@@legendredux1291 thanks for the corection
I thought Mexico City was the most populated.
Josh Cantrell bruh
who cares about tokyo anywhere....unless you’re weeb
1:20
Him: “The biggest populated city is Shanghai”
Tokyo: “am I a joke to you??”
I live in Washington and we do live in 2317. We have an advanced system of monorails that works at light speed^2 and we have a 3 giant ski slopes in the middle of downtown Seattle.
“Maybe gravity doesn’t work normally in Washington” As a Washington native I can confirm
Gray: *litearlly creates the most futuristic and advance mega empire in the galaxy*
The game: *everyone liked that*
You've gone through the whole game without watching the politics thing, I'm sad.
Hilarious. I was crying! I tried playing SimCity years ago and never had that much fun.
Do the first idea that comes to mind:Everybody is suffering
Do nothing:EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!
Funny how the notion of income inequality arises about the same time a university is placed down🤔

*goes to space*
*plays Russian national anthem*
Now try adding a lot of laws and regulation in that same city and see what happens
it'd be the same?
It would be cool if there was a space shuttle that launched to the moon, and you could then colonize the moon! Wouldn't it be cool?
Edit: Actually, the most populated city in the world is Tokyo, with 36 million people!
I read that in City of Mexico with all the slams and aglomeration around has over 37 million
Imagine a earthquake hitting this place
They would just build bigger buildings.
LOL
Free demolition
So this is why Chile is fighting rn lmao
2:43 he's made the Capitol of Panem out of the Hunger Games. Happy Hunger Games, poor people in this game, and may the odds be ever in your favor lmao

This is what libertarianism achieves in simulations and real life. When the government isn’t telling you how to spend your money and/or taking the majority of it you’re free to make your own decisions, you’re gonna be happier. P.S. libertarianism even conservatism isn’t anarchy.
Edit: P.P.S but yeah in real life the economy should be regulated better, funds should be spent more wisely, and rights should be better protected.
This has never happened in real life
Also the entire country is nearly uninhabitable due to pollution
Solari is a great architect who had many theoretical self sustaining buildings.
Your commentary is amazing
I love how the title represents our countries
"I guess it's a small price to pay for living in anarchy..."
Yeah it's not too bad. You could live under a more pervasive government and it's just 'Part and parcel' of living in a diverse city.
Surely a more libertarian government would lead to more diversity? A pervasive government would have more control over who can migrate.
@@SomeInfamousGuy Not necessarily because people would have freedom of association. People tend to self segregate.
It's governments which impose diversity on people
@@Chud_Bud_Supreme Not true, huge numbers of people want to migrate: look at the refugee crisis. What's going to stop them in a libertarian society?
@@SomeInfamousGuy Lack of welfare
@@Chud_Bud_Supreme The Bantu migrated in vast numbers into South Africa where there was no welfare state for them.
Normal title NOOOO......”And this happened” YESSS
I was afraid that some horrible dystopia would show up, but instead got an anarchist society getting way more powerful.
The main thing that makes sim city an unrealistic simulation is that it assumes that rich people actually pay their taxes. If this city was in the real world, the more upper class people you'd have the less money you'd get back.
