Then Tai proceeds to talk about Adam & Eve eating an 'apple'... obviously, Tai gets his KNOWLEDGE from unreliable secondary sources. No where in the Bible is an 'apple' ever mentioned. It says they ate 'fruit' from the 'tree of knowledge of good and evil'.

For all the hate in the comments, Tai doesn't really sell very much in this interview. The message behind the whole thing; educate yourself, take a step back from the drama and re-assess, invest in yourself, delay gratification for greater future rewards, these are all very good life lessons.

Yea but thats why people dislike this guy, because all he does is talk about knowledge and working hard, and how he works hard and idolizes billionaires. He can't tell you anything beyond that, and drop names, his book is proven to be a copy of someone else's work. I'm not outraged but it's disappointing because this is the worst episode by far. I thought Mike Rowe was gonna be really dull ( my prejudice ) but he was actually really smart and had some great opinions, but this guy just keeps parroting to read and learn but nothing more. We all know that already, people are right to be upset and call him a shill/con-man b/c he is a con-man.

Mine too. This was horrible. Tai Lopez is the absolute textbook definition of a fraud and a character with no redeeming value. There's literally no evidence backing up any of his strong claims. Not a shred. There's no evidence from his personal life of him being great at developing difficult talents with the motivation he speaks of. It's all just empty rhetoric. You might say, "Well, it sells books!" But does it actually? I haven't seen him on any bestseller lists yet.

Guys, this week Ben invited Ocasio-Cortez, got rejected, and renewed his invitation to any Leftists who care to sit down with him. He specified that the guest could choose a debate or discussion format. Tai Lopez is a middle-road guy, not a philosopher but an entrepreneur and open-minded to a fault. It's not like this show is only for those guests worthy of honor. It's a meetup, a get-together. It's also a demonstration of what most of us could be better at: respectful conversation.

Tai lopez works about as hard as someone who tells a person with an eating disorder that proper diet, exercise, and attitude are the key to success. It's like no fucking shit man. Was that really worth the money or time to learn that knawledge? He won't change people, he tells people the obvious without offering any information of real value or credentials of real value. Here in my garage, just bought this uhh, new Lamborghini here. It's fun to drive up here in the Hollywood Hills. But do you know what I like a lot more than materialistic things? Knowledge!...In fact, I am a lot more proud of these seven new bookshelves that I had to get installed, the whole 2000 new books that I've got. It's like...the billionaire Warren Buffet says: "The more you learn, the more you earn.". Now, maybe you've seen my Ted Ex talk where I talk about how I read a book a day- you know I read a book a day not to show off, once again, it's about the knowledge. The real reason I keep this Lamborghini here is that it's a reminder. A reminder that dreams are still possible. Because it wasn't that long ago that I was in a little town, across the country, sleepin'...on a couch, in a mobile home, with only $47 in my bank account. I didn't have a college degree. I had no opportunities. But you know what? Something happened that changed my life. I bumped into a mentor. And another mentor. And a few more mentors later I found FIVE mentors. And they showed me what THEY did- to become multi-millionaires. Again, it's not just about the money, it's about the good life: health, wealth, love and happiness. So I recorded a little video, it's actually on my website you can click here, on this video and it will take you to my website where I share THREE things that they taught me. THREE things that you can implement today, no matter where you are. Now, this isn't a "get rich quick" scheme. You know, like they say. If it sounds too good to be true, they are too good to be true. I'm not promising you that TOMORROW you will be able to go out and buy a Lamborghini- but what I am telling you is that it can happen faster than you think if you know the proven steps! So, I recorded a little 2 minute video on my website, uhh, like I said it's not the most professional, I just shot it here with my iPhone, but it's real. Nobody can argue that this is mine. True story. And I'mma give you...the three most important things you can do today. So click the link, go there. It's completely free to watch. It's just a couple minutes. Invest it in yourself. Always be curious. Don't be a cynic. Okay? People see videos like this and they say "uhh that's not for me, that's for somebody else". DON'T LISTEN! Don't listen! Be an optimist! Like Conrad Hilton, the man who started Hilton Hotel, he said...that when he was 15 year old, he read a book by Helen Keller. And that book changed his life. Books can change your life and in that book, Helen Keller said: "Optimism". So, if you're a pessimist, if you're a cynic, you don't have to click here.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but if you ignore the meme Tai Lopez and just listen to the guy in situations like this and some other interviews he's done he's a pretty interesting dude. He said he's looking for happiness just like most other people (and he's said it in the past). Idk, he seems like a solid dude and he's one of the few guys in his position (wealthy public figure) that makes mistakes often and just rocks them and moves on. I have little to no interest in his different programs, but there's obviously a market for it and he seems passionate about it or he would have taken off a long time ago.
Thanks for bringing him on Ben. I enjoyed the interview.

Mentorship is amazing stuff. With the right people. I'll never put Tai Lopez on a pedestal... he seems to subtly encourage idolatry. People are usually normal, if you're human your baseline is normal. Bruce Lee was just a man, Chuck Norris is just a man, even God (in some interpretations) was just a man. On that note, I idolize God for the transcendent actions he took, not the man he might have been.
What makes us different is our actions, but just because I have a lot of people I want to follow, doesn't mean I can't still be 100% myself in overcoming my trials.

This person doesn’t really have any knowledge about building a business or investing in a business. He basically somehow bought a large portion of UA-cam’s ad traffic which lulled people into believing he’s some sort of business guru after watching his adds. He’s a branding expert, conning people under the guise of a successful entrepreneur. I have no problem what he’s doing, what I have a problem with is him lying.

    • @dr.jerrygraham2954

Very well-stated. It's all fake and there's no authenticity or backing to any of his claims, which is what gets me. Lying so blatantly like this is really unforgiveable. I get the idea of promoting yourself intelligently and even going over the top. That's fine. But Tai is not honest, has no business skills, no real skills, and is not an expert in learning or motivation in any way. He is not an expert in anything that we have evidence of besides scamming.

I love the 4M's...Thank you Tai Lopez for sharing your strategies for success. I love your ideas about the education system. We need to change and implement a different structure in the way we are taught as children. I hated school as a child because I wanted to learn more and the things that I was taught are non relevant to this society. Thank you so much for all that you share and all that you do!! You are a blessing!! I love your diversity and I feel the same as you. 2weeks City...2 weeks farm.
I grew up going to the farm when I was young every summer and because of those experiences it had me more well-rounded than other people because I had different life experiences. Nations can rise and eventually they fall but if you know how to take care of yourself and your family and don't rely on that system in the long run you will succeed. I love the knowledge in this interview and for those who don't see what the knowledge is and want to hate on this man's accomplishments you have a lot of growing to do and need to find better things to do with your time then to bash the next person who actually helps people. Tai is a mentor, you can’t deny him that. He’s helps countless people become educated in a way of thought and a way of life that is overlooked by most of the population and opens doors that most people still don’t think exist. Like people just judge him for no reason without putting ANY effort into putting his ideas into work in REAL LIFE. Just try following his rule of 33% FOR REAL. It’s solid advice if you actually follow it it will change your life.

Tai Lopez is educating people on new trends. We are so stuck on the school/college education system that people are blind to alternatives of how to make money. Your point on focusing on your health before wealth or anything else is something that really resonates with me. Its true that if you are not in good health everything else you try to do in your life will become difficult because you will always have to worry about your health or well being. Doing this is a sign that you love yourself enough to stay healthy. It seems nowadays people are so caught up in their problems and fears in life that they let it consume them instead of facing them head on and taking initiative to resolve their issues rather than running away from them. I feel this is due to several factors and has a lot to do with the way we are brought up in society and in our household. If we are fortunate, we are brought up in at least a family that holds values that are true as they align with ethics and morality as well as with logic. This is the first thing we typically learn regardless of the religion we are raised with or even if we are brought up with no religion at all. I feel this is a good thing as it tends to preserve community and a sense of purpose in your life, something that everyone seeks for. I can see why you like the way the Amish live their life and i'm sure they live far happier lives than even some of the richest people in the world. In school we are usually just taught the fundamentals such as math, science, history, etc but we aren't really taught how to become self sustainable and or to do things like start a business that can sustain you for the rest of your life. I agree with you on the point that we should be teaching in schools differently through things like films as sometimes we can learn heaps more from a movie that students will actually be engaged in instead of the traditional way of teaching. Not to say we should stop the way teaching is done completely, but rather it just needs to be modified to be more practical to the things and aspirations that students really have because not every student wants to go off and be a scientist or a mathematician. We all have unique personalities and different passions and desires and I feel schools should base most of their teachings on this principle instead of just shoving a curriculum down their throats to meet society's standards. Many of us did what society has told us and we still find ourselves in the same situation or sometimes in even worse places. Perseverance and a burning desire to better yourself is something we should all have but sometimes we just give up. That is why its good to have mentors and teachers willing to dedicate years of their knowledge that will help you immensely in a fraction of the time it took them to learn.

My buddy has a multi million dollar digital marketing agency and taught in tai's social media course. Its incredible information. It doesn't mean its a scam or snake oil if you dont want to take the time and effort to learn it and implement it for yourself. Do you understand what im saying? Hahahah okay, yes I know what anchoring is and no that isn't what I am doing so I don't exactly know what you are bringing this up for other than to try and cleverly reframe the conversation in a way that benefits your point of view. Sorry but that "jutsu" don't work here son.
Your buddy isn't you, of course people support their friends even if their friends sell something people don't need it's not like that stops people from supporting them anyways. Why should I trust you? I worked in the entertainment industry so all your hype about someone else's "juice" might as well be hot air.
"Do you understand what I am saying?"
Holy shit everyone does, there isn't a single person of average intelligence who wouldn't be able to understand you. Did you read a bunch of books and all of a sudden think that you get to ignore your own shitty arguments? Is that was this is now? A fortune cookie also has some use if you apply the bits of wisdom and live a happier life, but not everyone does that either and maybe somewhere out there someone is getting nutrients shoving those cookies up their ass.
I have looked at what Tai is selling already before and I am not impressed or willing to shell out cash for someone who is this slimey so link stuff if you want, not sure what good it will do you.

The idea of having a mentor never really occurred to me but it makes total sense, someone who could really let you in on what they have found out in their life and then pass it on to you even if the advice they give you isn’t the best for you, you have the opportunity to see how one person made it through life!! Great conversation!!!

Until recently I never realized just how important having a mentor is. It is easy to loose your path when you Feel alone in entrepreneurship and have to have people in your life that are narcissistic and skeptical about entrepreneurship.

Why’d you have a scam artist on your show Ben?

How is he a scam? Just another Guru like Gary Vee, Grant Cardone or Tony Robbins!

Just because you're conservative, doesn't mean you have to be rigid. If you didn't watch the interview and just commented, then you might be a little rough around the corners.

Two of the most insightful guys who just captivate the mind. Truly beginning to educate myself and ultimately reprogramming myself in the way I think, learn and do things nowadays.

Ben Shapiro has changed my life by simply listening to him speak about politics and his thoughts on topics he feels strongly about. I believe this man and channel his confidence when I’m questioned and shamed for my political views. Even though I have not had the pleasure of meeting Ben he is a mentor to me. Tai Lopez being a guest and knowing very little about him made me skeptical about the conversation at first but the man is filled with knowledge and life experiences. The fact that two people that are avid readers can speak so freely about literature and history is motivating and intimidating because they’re both ridiculously intelligent. I guess I have to start reading more to level up. If you can’t find the sucker in the room, you’re probably the sucker. Im going to pay close attention to what both these role models say in the future. Maybe have my girlfriend take the Tai quiz before I pop the question. Great video guys

I have enjoyed every episode thus far even if they are on the opposite side of religion or politics but this, this interview doesn't put a smile on my face. Also how do you hate Michael Knowles but like Lopez???
