Get it together Microsoft! The whole point of scheduling an email is 1. The recipient receives at a specified date & time. 2. You do not have to be logged/singed into email. We can't do either so "delayed delivery" is essentially useless.
Then there is no point of Scheduling if its still going to show the time i scheduled it, might as well wait till the morning to send. Gmail is much better because you can customised this.
Thanks for writing this. I thought the app used to be designed so that if you pressed and held the blue send arrow, a schedule option would pop up. When that didn't occur, I was very confused and thought the schedule feature had been removed.
What is the sodding point of 'delayed delivery' if it shows the original time you sent it rather than the scheduled time? What is the actual point of this function?
Hey 👋 since recording this demo the emails now show the time sent rather than time scheduled. We've made an updated demo video here (which also includes scheduling in new Outlook): ua-cam.com/video/az_ddh7hKJU/v-deo.htmlsi=n3MAz2biwFoPoVgn

just save it in draft and email it when you want it to go. what's the point of signing in again for a scheduled email??
We agree, sadly it does not make much sense🤷
Is this your idea of "delayed delivery", Microsoft? After all these years, you still don't get it...SMH...
Get outlook on your phone, tap the 3 dots and then schedule send. Way more seamless process
