Thanks again for making this video, today 3 engine mounts have been replaced. Now you can barely feel the engine run and the vibrations are gone. Well worth the money!

Looks doable, except I am apprehensive of simply being unable to align the four holes in the mounting bracket and ending up in a bind. Any hints that you can recall? Maybe start all four bolts, while there is plenty of play before raising the engine as needed by the new, higher mount?

Yep, that's exactly how to do it!

@@plunderdownunder Success! The only difference for a 2008 XC70 with a 3.2 engine seemed to be that I could not find a secondary support point under the car for holding up the engine. But just using the board under the oil pan worked fine. The car makes less noise now. Thanks!

Did you notice a big difference in vibrations after replacing those mounts?
Did you install genuine volvo parts or aftermarket?
I don't believe the engine mounts have ever been replaced on my 2012 s60 d3.
    Thanks for the detailed video!

TBH I didn't have any noticeable issues. The mounts were found to be defective on a quick inspection when buying the V70. I bought the mounts from a Volvo specialist and think they're probably OE parts. It's a fairly easy job, good luck, hope it fixes your issues. Happy Volvoing!
