    This was the best water workout for me! I lost 20 pounds in 2 months by doing this workout and your arm and ab out. I have bad knees and it's hot in Texas, so I needed a workout that didn't put a lot of strain on my knees and it was COOL while I exercised. I did this workout 4 days out of the week and I didn't do any fad diet, I just started paying attention to what I ate. I just saw the new one with the noodle, I can't wait to try it!

    I have gone from 210lbs to 185lbs in 9 weeks doing pool workouts 3 days a week and using whole foods plant based diet with intermittent fasting 12 to 18 hrs a night. I work out on an empty stomach. I'm 62 with RA and CKD stage 3. If I can do it anyone can. 😊

      @@jjsom9914 no, I watch the routines and then do them in the pool. It's just aerobics.

    I just Finished a water Pilates class At my gym, but because I had the warm pool all to myself and decided to UA-cam a cardio video to get my heart rate up! It was great! Looking forward to seeing the other videos! Thank you!

    I LOVE this! I lean toward exercising with weights and only have access to the pool for three months a year but I guarantee this will do wonders for mobility. Thank you!

    This is the same workout my old teacher used to do i had most of them down packed but a few i had forgot this is the best workout plan because the new teacher does zumba and she do not do good at all teaching so i do my own workouts remember these from the good teacher we ones had

    I really like your presentation and explanation of each exercise. Suggestion: add an option for holding on to the pool edge for some exercises, for those who are having balance issues in the pool. Thank you for your wonderful videos!

    Excellent workout. Definitely don’t need to actually touch the ankles for the ankle-Touch moves. A lot of people have bad backs and knees but the basic movement can be done safely. Also, I love your Roxy rash guard.!!

    Can you use water weights instead of the gloves?

      It is doable but buoyant water weights will not give you the same drag resistant as the gloves. You can read more on how to use aqua equipment in my blog here:

      These are low impact workouts and in the water there’s much less pressure on the joints. However, I will highly recommend consulting your health care provider or PT.

    So happy I found you! I was just looking for regular swimming workouts. I really need to lose weight. And I've been having major calf pain while walking so swimming is the best option.
    I'm wondering how many calories do you lose with this workout?
    Also do I do laps after / before this?
    Does this workout accumulate to doing laps in the pool?

      No need for ankle weights. I would recommend wearing water shoes for better traction and some stability :)

      Hi! The gloves are giving you extra resistance, but you can totally do this session also without the gloves.

      Hi Denise, these are the aqua webbed gloves.
      They are used to increase the drag force of the water, thus increasing the resistance.
      you can also do the class without the gloves.

    What do you suggest to increase heart rate? Hand weights?

      Hi Mona, the gloves will give you a good resistance to work harder and therefore increase your heart rate. Also work in full range of motion and push harder against the water. Enjoy ;)
