This is an exceptional technique. I’ve subscribed to this channel even though I have a TKD background. I deem Jiujitsu superior compared to TKD for real-life self defense situations. This channel provides those real-life defense methods I always look forward to see. Well done and thank you for the content!
Again this is very good :) At the end of shihonage, you can pull back your right leg and drop on it, right knee on the ground, it's even faster and less avoidable for the shoulder (or if uke is quite flexible). One step further is dropping on both knees like you would do on a seoi-nage (action of the arm is like a old train horn, otoshi style) Keep up the good job (y)
Appreciate your comment and contribution. Definitely agree that there are ways to strongly enhance the execution of the shihonage, including through through footwork, etc. This particular drill wasn't so much about the shihonage itself but more the movement leading to the two techniques (before diving a little harder into actual applications of each technique). Nonetheless, you aren't wrong that each of these techniques can be enhanced in a variety of ways. Thanks again for your support!
Thank you for your desire! It's our desire too! We're working on it! What state are you in? Our governing body, the International Kokondo Association (IKA), has dojo that teach and promote our style in a number of states (but not all).
Love it, 2 of my favorit technics demonstrated in a classic way. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it! Used at the right time and context - both are amazing tools in the toolbox!

This is one art that I wish was more popular, I’ve lived in two states, this art is nowhere near wherever I’ve lived.

@@JukidoAcademy I’m in the Richmond Virginia area. Formerly I lived in Ct, which is where I first heard of Jukido.
Yes, Connecticut where our system began and is headquartered. In time, perhaps Virginia will happen. Thank you for the support of Jukido Jujitsu.
