- Black Belt Class Summary from January 16, 2021 at the Jukido Academy in Palm Coast, FL
This class focused on utilizing on traditional redirection & hikite (pulling arm) as an armdrag, tai-otoshi, karate kihon combinations, sanbon kumite, body conditioning, atemi waza, reflex development in blocking, and more.
Class was dedicated to Mr. John Sanfilippo - one of our black belts battling (and beating) COVID-19 in the hospital. - Спорт
great training. I've done martial arts for 40 years and people really under-value the importance of just repeated training of instinctive movements. As Musashi said, train hard and you'll understand.

What if your fighting a really good boxer, would be nice to see tutorial on that osu
Great question! I'm not sure which part of the video you are referring to exactly (perhaps the reflex development or body conditioning exercises) - but in general - our philosophy is to explore the diversity of our complete skill set. As such, with a proficient boxer, the idea would NOT be to have a prolonged exchange of fistacuffs but rather to engage at a fighting range that would exploit the weaknesses of a one dimensional approach. The key is to be able to skillfully navigate safely through the danger zone between long range and being firmly connected. Perhaps, in the future, we can do a tutorial on this notion.
